Summary

The Multi-Hyphen Method is an essential new business audiobook for the digital age.

The Internet and our phones mean we can work wherever, whenever, and allow us to design our own working lives. In The Multi-Hyphen Method, Emma Gannon teaches that it doesn't matter if you're a part-time PA with a blog or a physio who runs an online jewellery store in the evenings - whatever your ratio, whatever your mixture, we can all channel the entrepreneurial spirit.

Today, the stigma of being a jack of all trades is being dispelled, and having more strings to your bow is essential to getting ahead in the modern working world. Emma Gannon's audiobook is the ultimate guide in helping us navigate our way towards success.

Good

The book is good, discussing future of work and ideas for branching out. Sometimes the author comes across as whining and repetitive. I wouldn’t say it is one of the most memorable self help books I’ve read but I did thoroughly enjoy it and found what she had to say interesting - hence 5 stars!

Fantastic!!

I listen to Emma’s podcast Ctrl Alt Delete so already a fan. When I heard her talk about writing this book I just had to get it as I am right is the midst of waking up to the fact that I want more from my career and to live a multi hyphen lifestyle. So it was perfect timing for me a really good Listen and helped keep me on track for the life I want to be living. Would recommend to anyone wanting to break out from the norm and live a more full well rounded life that you enjoy.

Thank you

Refreshingly, Emma reads her own book so there is a definite personal connection. I felt I have just been coached. Thoroughly enjoyed it and will be starting it again shortly. Thank You Emma! X

Last half is the best

I found the first half incredibly repetitive.
And the lists about other multi hyphens can grate while listening to audio.

Then you get on to the chapters which have info and advice and this is why I downloaded the book. Emma has clearly done her research. I will be listening to those chapters again with a pen and paper next time round. This book might be better to buy a hard copy, so you can highlight bits that were relevant rather than the audio version.

Simply brilliant

Thanks Emma Gannon! As a millennial in a rigid job, this book confirms how I’ve been feeling is normal and makes me realise the opportunities that are out here.
