Julia Maguire can't wait to spend two weeks in Hawaii with her best friends. She's been dreaming about this trip for years and all she wants is to lay on a sandy beach with an icy cocktail in her hand. But those vacation goals change the moment she meets Reed Baxter. Reed is a busy doctor with family demands. She's in Hawaii to let go, not find love, and she's not interested in any commitment. Adding a little heat to the vacation seems like a good idea as long as there aren't expectations for anything more.

Sutton Spencer's ideas for her life were fairly simple: finish graduate school and fall in love. It would be a lot simpler if she could pinpoint exactly what she should do when she graduates in less than a year. Oh, and if she could figure out how to talk to a woman without feeling like a total mess, that would be great, too. Charlotte Thompson is very much the opposite.

If there’s one thing Brooke Sullivan knows for sure is that people let you down, but that hasn’t stopped her from going after the life she wants. In a new city, with a new job and a new start as a high-end real estate agent, she’s finally back on her feet. The last thing she needs is a distraction. Not her volatile neighbors, not a damn stray cat, and certainly not the flaky, infuriatingly adorkable girl-next-door property stager she has to work with.

Summary
Ever fallen in love with someone you shouldn’t have fallen in love with? Alice Di Santo has it all - everyone says so. Perfect boyfriend, great job, settled home life. But when she meets Rachel Cramer, all that changes. Because Rachel is everything Alice has never considered - and now cannot stop thinking about.
This charming tale of coming out in your 30s sees Alice risk everything to go after what she wants, soon discovering she’s deserving of love - and especially this love, which takes her breath away.
The fourth book in the London Romance Series features favourite characters from the previous three novels, and proves that falling in love is never scripted.

Well written book by someone who has obviously been in love. I fell into the story and couldn't put it down.

Really well narrated romance
A stand alone story well written and well narrated but I highly recommend listening to the other three books in this series. I’ve both read and listened to all in this series and listening does give a different perspective. If you’re looking for a good romance book to listen to while relaxin on holiday, then this and the other three are a definite. Excellent.

Tired
I wasn't all that impressed; the storyline was mediocre, and neither of the lead characters was particularly interesting or likable. Rachel was rather one dimensional, and Alice was weak, whiny, vacillating and spent far too much time wanting something or someone but lacking the will to actually do something about it. Tanya Grant is back in a supporting role and makes a better best friend than a lead character. This is likely the weakest of the five books in this series.

A Public Outing
Alice De Santo has it all, wonderful family & friends, great job and perfect boyfriend. Then she meets Chef Rachel Cramer and her world turns on it’s axis. Her best friend had been telling her she was gay but Alice had never considered that it was true. A coming out in your thirties romance. Great performance. Recommend.

Excellent read!
The characters all have full depth and realistic interaction. Alice is lovable and slightly irritating at the same time. Rachel is truly desirable, from her looks to her cooking. This is a marvelous addition to the series. The reading performance by Lucy Price-Lewis brought this novel to life.

This series just keeps getting better
Lucy Price-Lewis does an outstanding job of bringing the characters in this fourth book of Clare Lydon's London series to life. Having listened to the previous books in this series the relationship that grows through this novel surprised me a bit and it is refreshing. The concept of open, honest and timely communication is examined in such a context that it is subtle but there none the less. The highly emotional, incredibly sensuous and sometimes humorous style that it is written in is engaging and fun. I would recommend that anybody who enjoys a good lesbian romance take the time for this entire series. This can be done as a standalone but it will be much more enjoyable with the building blocks of the three previous novels.

A great toaster oven love story with laughs
I was worried about whether I would like this book in the series due to one of the main protagonists Alice realizing she has a major attraction and feelings for her friend Rachel while still being in a relationship with her super sweet and nearly perfect boyfriend Jake. Clare Lydon handled the situation beautifully and I lost no respect for the mains for handling the situation respect, honesty, and of course humor. Once again I laughed out loud while listening to the journey of Alice and Rachel peppered with their friends and family. Definitely my favorite of the series thus far and I highly recommend. Lucy Price-Lewis was superb in her narration.
