About this listen

From the realms of the Afterlife Saga comes a new spin on this Gothic world....

When a bunch of misfit orphans all find themselves on a bus heading towards a new life, one called Afterlife, it wasn’t quite what they had in mind. But even fate can play games and five teens will soon find themselves asking even more questions than ever before.

Questions about an uncertain future in this new world and the very first one on the top of that long list...what does the King of Heaven and Hell have in store for them?

This is a continuation of the Afterlife Saga, suitable for young adults but a must listen for all Afterlife fans!

It took a bit of getting used to work having Kris Dyer narrate but once I got over the shock of a male narrator I was hooked.
I am a fan of the afterlife saga books & audiobooks. And I was not disappointed. 5stars

Recommend that you read with book. The books been updated since it first came out and have brilliant sketches of some of the scenes throughout this book that I don't recall seeing when I first read it.

This would be great at getting a young teen who finds reading difficult e.g. Dyslexic or simply doesn't enjoy reading and getting them interested reading particularly in urban fantasy. With the Audiobook and kindle ebook with Whispersync it's easy for the reader to follow along if using a tablet or Kindle fire. You will need to ensure its set up correctly, you can also use a phone , I have an iPhone and set up using screen mirroring with my TV. Only downside in using immersion reading with Whispersync is it skips the fantastic sketches that help you imagine the scene being described, so if following along with ebook be forewarned.

I'd recommend before giving this to a child bellow 13 that you have a quick listen or read to see if you think they may find anything difficult or inappropriate. A mature 8 year old I think would be fine but always check if you're not sure

If you love the Afterlife saga you'll enjoy this and for those that like and dislike academy books I think you'll find this interesting as it's not your typical academy book.

Fantastic read for all ages

The narrator has changed and who knew - Draven’s gone camp. How different the original series would have been… and Pip - I miss the old Pip. The narrator wasn’t bad, it’s just after listening to the main series, the characters have all been perfectly defined by the original narrator

Hmmm

After listening to all of the Afterlife Books with great enjoyment the new narrator just spoilt this book for me - the characters in this book were just not right in how they sounded especially Pip, Sophia & Dravin. The story was very good but it was spoilt by the radical changed voices & such a major flaw, shame & great disappointment in this audible book.

Disappointing
