I was really looking forward to listening to this book as I have read all the others by this author. The story was great but I struggled to finish it as the narrator was terrible. Dreadful accents which really spoiled the story for me.

I do wonder how certain narrators get chosen. This one when doing Sophie’s voice is too irritating for me to continue. Shame as I do like Marks books but I just can’t get past Sophie’s voice. Buy this and read it yourself rather than listen to it.

Would have had 5 stars but the narrator's attempt at a Midlands accent was a little annoying.
Great story if a little slow to get going for my taste. Will read / listen to other books from this author.

Enjoyable but predictable, had the protagonist pegged on her apparent exit from the story. Not that there aren't some surprises. Very well narrated and worth listening to/reading
