Humanity has been torn asunder and brought to the edge of total annihilation in less than an hour. Summary
A hidden conspiracy. A shadow government. The CIA analyst who uncovers it all.
In an off-site CIA facility outside of Langley, rookie analyst Everett Carroll discovers he’s not being told the whole truth. He’s instructed to disregard troubling information uncovered by his research. Everett ignores his directive and keeps digging. What he finds goes against everything he’s been taught to believe. Unfortunately, his curiosity doesn’t escape the attention of his superiors, and it may cost him his life.
Meanwhile, Tennessee public school teacher Noah Parker, like many in the United States, has been asleep at the wheel. During his complacency, the founding precepts of America have been systematically destroyed by a conspiracy that dates back hundreds of years.
Cassandra Parker, Noah’s wife, has diligently followed end-times prophecy and the shifting tide against freedom in America. Noah has tried to avoid the subject, but when charges are filed against him for deviating from the approved curriculum in his school, he quickly understands the seriousness of the situation. The signs can no longer be ignored, and Noah is forced to prepare for the cataclysmic period of financial and political upheaval ahead.
Watch through the eyes of Noah Parker and Everett Carroll as the world descends into chaos, a global empire takes shape, ancient writings are fulfilled, and the last days fall upon the once-great United States of America.
The Days of Noah series by Mark Goodwin is a fast-paced fiction thriller, which looks at how modern conspiracies could play into Biblical prophecy concerning the end times. Buy your copy, and jump into this near-future, post-apocalyptic adventure today!

Not bad, great if you're a christian.
It started off pretty interesting with some conspiracy and interesting ideas but by the end, the Christian propaganda got real heavy and it became less and less interesting, I suppose I should have expected it from the title but it was too much for my tastes.

It's all about me!
Great narrator. will look out for him again. I don't know how to feel about this book. I know that as a Brit, I found the in-depth descriptions and talk of guns uncomfortable. Also I was very upset by the conversation about suicide. The author was wrong there. God will remove you from a situation in his time. it is not for us to permanently remove ourselves from life! America once again the center of the universe!

Wondering Where Faith and Christ Fit In?
I got through the first book, thinking...okay they got the groundwork done. The repeated discussions regarding weapons and ammunition made it very clear that these Christians would be relying heavily on their own ability to battle the bad guys. For just any survival story, I get it, but Revelation? The fixation of the weapons and ammo made me feel very uncomfortable as a possible surviving Christian when it continued into the next book. It is as if the characters do not grasp that the weapons are death and lost souls. Where is the faith in God? Where is the concern to witness to the lost? The opportunity to be a witness and be a disciple for Christ is coming to an end. Shouldn't trying to reach others be your focus? The focus is about the financial fall and building a army. Do they understand that they cannot change the outcome? That they are fighting against what God ordained in Revelation? It's sad when a supposedly biblical based story leaves out the essence of the message. Examples: remake of Left Behind, recent Noah and Exodus: Kiings and Gods. This author left me feeling the same way as these movies.

this is a very interesting book. it harkens back to the days of the monkey trials in 1925 when Scopes was put on trial. This is an interesting twist because the teacher was was teaching creation theory. As with Mark Goodwin's other books, he starts of each chapter with a scripture, there's no bad language in his books.

too much of a sermon
I'm only a couple hours into the story and I'm already sick of the sermons. listening to this book is like sitting in a pew on Sunday. The rest of the story is ok so far, but I'm tired of the 20 minute Bible study interludes. If I finish it, I'll revise my review if it's warranted.
update: I didn't finish it. it only got worse. the illuminati and the devil worshipping Masons along with the pope, who is the false prophet, and the evil gay people are all destroying our country. the fringe Christian bigots are our only hope. there, I saved you from having to sit through it.
