Summary

The Netherfield Ball: classic. Predictable. Immortalized.

But what if Elizabeth were forced to relive it over and over and over again? Night after night after night?

Elizabeth: clever. Witty. Confident. Suddenly, her confusion and desperation make her question things she long thought she knew.

Mr. Darcy: proud. Unapproachable. Ill-tempered.

In this world where nothing is as it seems, Elizabeth must learn to see through new eyes. Including a man she thought she hated.

Let the hilarity ensue.

Great fun!

This is a quick, easy and thoroughly enjoyable story. Groundhog Day meets P&P as Elizabeth relives the Netherfield ball over and over again! The story is funny, touching and sweet in turns. I love the moments when she just does whatever she wants, but the best thing is the slow growth of her feelings for Darcy. It's completely organic, in character and makes perfect sense.

Groundhog Day meets P&P

I've read this book on Kindle and in paperback and enjoyed it so bought the audible version too. it's a great romp as Lizzy faces the day of the Netherfield ball again and again. This allows Darcy and Elizabeth to gradually get to know and understand each other; although only Lizzy is revisiting the day anew.
Will our dear couple reach their happy ever after?

Interesting

I really love this author's work. This is a very interesting twist on the movie Groundhog Day. The story was funny, moving at times and maddening at others.

I really enjoyed the narration of this book.

All time favorite

This is my goto book when I am stressed and need that pick me up and laugh. The Netherfield ball reimagined, the what if here are wide ranging. What would you like to say to Lydia, Jane, Carolyn or Mr Bennett? It all gets said in this ground hog Ball. I would love to see the ones that did not make it into the book. lol. What would you do, if you were free from consequences? Conversations and a first kiss are just some of the main stream results. What length will Elizabeth go to, to get past Wednesday. the day after the ball? I have listened to this audible more times than I can count and it never gets old. Enjoy and get obsessed with this PP variation.

DNF the first part is interesting

Towards the end it gets so ridiculous. Elizabeth can see nothing wrong with Darcy. He is perfect and even justified in not wanting her for a wife. So it was all on Elizabeth? She had to change and to do everything to make it ok for Darcy to propose? He doesn't get to change. It makes no sense for me. And it made me cringe more and more as Elizabeth changed.
I loved another book by this author so much that I can't believe it's the same person writing the characters.
The narration is ok. I didn't like it but it didn't make me want to stop listening just because of it.

Great Story Well Read

So original and well-written. Just finished reading it again, this time on Audible, and loved it just as much as the first time; maybe more as the reader was outstanding!! Highly recommend it!

Thoroughly Enjoyed The 26th of November

I thoroughly enjoyed the 26th of November. This is the first time I’ve read a P&P with this particular theme of which I will not speak. I highly recommend this book for any that enjoy a good romance; and, in particular to P&P fans. The story and reading is wonderful!

Boring

Couldn't get through it. Inane comedy, but narration made it tedious and made Elizabeth appear younger and sillier than Lydia.

A General Ridiculous but Fun story

I enjoyed Elizabeth's many trips to the ball. But I found the drugging of Mrs Bennet and Lydia hard to believe. And the pushing of Lydia with a sword and down the stairs very uncomfortable. I feel these do not belong in a story such as this.
