Summary

They say that timing is everything....

Their chance meeting at Pemberley helped Elizabeth Bennet to realize her true feelings for Mr. Darcy. That same meeting gave him the opportunity to show Elizabeth that he had taken her criticism to heart and made improvements to his behavior. Would this new start finally lead to their happily ever after?

How might the relationship between Elizabeth and Darcy have been different if they had become betrothed before Elizabeth learned of Lydia’s elopement? Would they have traveled to London together? Would Elizabeth have assisted in her sister’s recovery? Would Lydia and Wickham still have married or would there be another way to save Elizabeth’s youngest sister?

A Matter of Timing answers all those questions and more.

Very good

I was a little hesitant at first but now I am extremely happy that I decided to buy this book. The story is very good and Stevie Zimmerman does an excellent job as always.
there were a few times when I thought some of the dialog could have been changed to something like "Darcy explained what had happened" or "They told him everything", instead of repeating basically the same dialog over again. Other than that though I have found no faults in this book.

This is on my top five list now og Pride and Prejudice variations. 😊

Very enjoyable

Enjoyable story. A bit tame compared with other PPVs. Also a bit short for the money charged. Felt that some parts could have been expanded with more imagination and detail to improve the overall story.

Great variation

This is one of the best variations of Pride and Prejudice I have discovered. Extremely enjoyable and entertaining. I do feel Wickham's eventual fate was harsh though, even for him.

Pleasing and entertaining; but ugh the Americanisms grated!!!

A nice, gentle, engaging variation, read fabulously by THE voice of the genre, the great Stevie Zimmerman. My only criticism is the inclusion of some American language; “fall” rather than Autumn; “sidewalk” instead of pavement….. really??? But I’m being picky; I shall happily listen again.
