I was so looking forward to this book but what a shame. It’s slow and the narrator just didn’t fit the book.

I know he had a lot of voices to do but they were a bit inconsistent.

Very easy to listen to. Gentle story probably aimed at people older than me. Not really my cup of tea but I’m sure lots of people will enjoy it.

I liked this book but it wasn't really gripping. Nevertheless I wanted to hear the ending and what happened to the main characters. The narrator was fine.

Not her best at all and not helped by the narrator who seemed to make each character sound either pompous, arrogant or timid. I struggled to like any of the characters and felt the storyline was weak. I did finish it though and it did all come together at the end.
