Summary

This is the second edition of the book.

Why read Stuttering &Amp; Anxiety Self-Cures?

Stuttering & Anxiety Self-Cures is believed to be unique in that it offers concrete, step-by-step methods to self-cure stuttering, a disease that many doctors and speech therapists have characterized as incurable - all written by an author who has self-cured and has helped (and is helping) others self-cure. This second edition provides a very real, living, breathing, human story of the author's 25-year battle to overcome stuttering (as a young attorney who couldn't say his own name in court), and this second edition reveals what the author has learned by befriending on Facebook some 2,000 people who stutter (PWS) and actively communicating with 100+ PWS and Skyping with 10 to 20 of the same weekly for the past year. Most compelling, those who have Skyped with the author regularly have self-cured. The author has given his book away to countless PWS, and he provides his coaching on Skype at no charge. Anyone who stutters or who suffers speech anxiety, should listen to this unique book and contact the author (at info@leeglovett.com) and launch their own self-cure.

Best hook on the subject without question

I have tried everything to beat stuttering, nothing has worked as good as the steps in this book.
Lee literally gives his time away for free, for people that stammer, the guy is a saint.

I haven’t Skyped with him yet & have noticed a distinct reduction in my stammering.

When my cure takes place, I plan to dedicate myself to helping others.

Really great principles

As a Christian there were some parts which I felt patronized my faith. There were some misinformed comments about faith-healing as an example of placebo (or the power of thought). Apart from that, I gained some really helpful tips and principles.

Life Changing!

This book is truly life changing! I honestly cannot recommend this book enough. I have listened to the audiobook and also read the hard copy.

I have suffered with situational stuttering for around 20 years and have tried different forms of therapy throughout the years. None have been as effective as the principles and techniques outlined in this book. For the first time in my life I genuinely believe that stuttering can be cured and have seen some incredible results in the short few weeks since reading this book and applying its principles.
Lee is dedicated to helping as many people as possible and arranges skype calls with anyone seeking help, completely free of charge!

Not impressed - couldn't finish

The audio editing was poorly done. He read the entire table of contents aloud, which is something I've not heard in any other audiobook to which I've listened. The whole chapter quoting letters congratulating himself got really old. He constantly referred to others who were "charlatans", but by that time I couldn't help wondering if he was protesting too much. There may be good content here, but after the first session listening, I didn't have it in me to come back for more.

Informative and Inspirational!

I loved this book- it was very educational and really opened my eyes!

The narrator (the author himself) was also great- not only due to his delivery, but also because I could tell that he was using his own methods periodically while reading.

I'm glad I found this book online. My stuttering has already improved and I can't wait to learn and apply all of his methods and consistently speak smoothly and confidently.

Thank you so much, Mr. Lee Lovett!

Excellent, at long last!

Not only is Mr Lovett an excellent narrator, the content of this book is equally superb. I find myself in near complete agreement with the author’s ideology and methods. Highly recommended.

sunlight on my so called incurable stutter

If you want to accomplish anything(Everything start in the mind, to heal the body you should first heal the mind), Lee's book is a must read and specifically if you want to defeat your stutter, if you want to take joy from speaking ( an vital and survival function). By reading and listening the book I was 20% fluent and starting using the crushes I gain 40% of fluency. Thank you very much much Lee, I'm no longer afraid of my future. You'll know the true and it will set you free. I'm free of my stutter, I turned the table, I got it under control now.
