Publisher's Summary

A dirty deal was struck. Humanity was allowed to keep 300 rebellious worlds. In return, we declared war on a powerful enemy from beyond the frontier.

A frantic build-up of forces has begun, but the task is hopeless. Seeking allies, Earth's legions are sent to Blood World. A planet on the fringe of known space, where the people only respect masters of combat. Earth's Legions must impress them, but other alien powers have been invited to join the contest. The prize consists of billions of loyal troops - Earth must win.

Fighting and dying and fighting again, the struggle is half-mad - but so is James McGill.

Blood World is the eighth book in the Undying Mercenaries Series.

    "James McGill is my hero"

What can I say, just when I thought it was over, # 8 comes out. This series is by far my favorite sci-fi guilty pleasure listen when I have the time to immerse myself in McGill's life & death & life & death....

"Always Enjoyable Continuation of the Series"

This continuation of the Undying Mercenaries series continues in the same vein. I look foward to the continuation of the series and believe anyone reading this book will enjoy the continued adventures of the same characters.

"Stories of James McGill are Awesome! "

So happy I finally got to enjoy this latest installment. Just when you think the fates are sealed, some crazy twist from left field. Love these books. Too bad they don't come out more frequently :-)

the main char is just plain common sence hill billy. with plasma rifle and the inability to keep his pants up around the ladies, he manages great feats on the galactic scale. great funny story

    "Not his best. "

Good as a next installment, but probably the weakest of the undying mercenaries series thus far.

"Love the series but not this ending"

The series is great! I’m always excited about the next book, but the ending this time really fell flat and felt rushed and abrupt. I was disappointed by it. As always the performance was stellar!

"Compared to the previous books in the series..."

This book seemed to be lacking. it seemed to expound on plots that could have been glossed over and others that were skipped over that should have been explored in detail.
Larson hit the target... but I'm use to a bullseye every time from this author.
If you liked the previous books you'll like this one.

    "So juiced about this! "

A new book in the Undying Mercenary series! I'm positive this will be as excellent as the last one!
definitely Justice great is the rest of the books in this series Mark Boyett is excellent at the narration of all the characters. He really brings to life the characters B V Larson penned to life here in the Undying Mercenary series.
