Summary
James McGill is called upon for a sabotage mission, one that only a man of his unique talents can handle. Unfortunately, he performs too well, and our enemies from Rigel are enraged. They come for us, and war is declared.
Both sides call for aid, and it comes from the Core Worlds in the form of two great fleets. The Civil War for the Empire’s Throne spills out into the provinces. In the center of Galaxy, fantastic fleets crush one another and burn thousands of inhabited worlds. When this conflict between the great powers spreads, humanity finds itself swept up in the storm.
Can McGill escape this disaster he’s created? Find out in Clone World, the 12th book of the Undying Mercenaries series. With over three million copies sold, author B. V. Larson is the king of modern military science fiction.

Best of an already truly series!
Performance as usual is amazing. The story moves on to a much more mature Centurion (at least on the battlefield) and this is certainly the more darker and intriguing book of the series so far.
Excellent!

I know he is a "big guy!"
This series of books is very enjoyable and would be even better if the author would just stop telling me things that I already know, this is the 12 book in the series and if by now I do not know that James McGill is a "Big Guy" or that he stands at "2m tall" or that "He has an on/off relationship with Galina Turov" or even that "Belchers can have a wide or narrow beam" then I should actually be worried that I might forget to breath.
I have 7 books still to go in the series as it stands at the moment and I do hope that this trend comes to an end and B.V. Larson expands on the descriptions of things we do not know. It is very lazy writing, maybe something I would expect from the Skay!
Saying all of this, I do like the stories, the tech and the different creatures in the universe, it would make an amazing video game and TV series. I even took a trip out to Rigel in Elite Dangerous just to take a look a the star and planets.

Best one in a while
I’m not saying the last few have been back but maybe a little slow. This one really picked up.

Overall good apart from a glaring error.
half way through a character reappears. No explanation is given to this so I must assume editing of the audiobook caused this. Don't want to write a supplier but it's too obvious and thought I'd missed an ark. I checked and this has been discussed on forums and found by others.
Otherwise an excellent book!

Even better than the previous one
Adventure in Claverland. Wars, battles, spies and difficult situations. Author's imaginary impressive. There are always two stories one in the book and other bigger from the series. Not sure which one is best.
