Story
Dr Gabor Maté is one of the world’s most revered thinkers on the psychology of addiction. His radical findings - based on decades of work with patients challenged by catastrophic drug addiction and mental illness - are reframing how we view all human development. In this award-winning modern classic, Gabor Maté takes a holistic and compassionate approach to addiction, whether to alcohol, drugs, sex, money or anything self-destructive. He presents it not as a discrete phenomenon confined to a weak-willed few but as a continuum that runs through (and even underpins) our society.

Story
In her number one NYT best sellers, Brené Brown taught us what it means to dare greatly, rise strong and brave the wilderness. Now, based on new research conducted with leaders, change makers and culture shifters, she’s showing us how to put those ideas into practice so we can step up and lead. Leadership is not about titles, status and power over people. Leaders are people who hold themselves accountable for recognising the potential in people and ideas and developing that potential. This is a book for everyone who is ready to choose courage over comfort, make a difference and lead.

Jung regarded the unconscious and its symbolic content as crucial to our psychological development; among the central concepts of analytical psychology is individuation, which is the lifelong psychological process of differentiation of the self. Jung considered it to be the main task looming over every human being in their development, and experimented with a variety of practices to dive always deeper into it. These 100 quotes have been carefully selected to introduce you to his character and his way of thinking, and to inspire you into making your own discoveries about the unconscious.

Summary
Rumi has been described as "the most popular poet" in the United States.
Rumi's popularity has gone beyond national and ethnic borders. He is considered to be one of the greatest classical poets, by the speakers of Persian language in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan. His poetry is still read worldwide today and has been translated into a wide variety of languages including Turkish, Persian, Russian, Asian, English, and Spanish languages. Likely due to the pure universal natural themes in his poetry, Rumi's works are simplistic and beautiful at the same time.
A collection of 101 quotes of wisdom from Rumi on life, love, and happiness.
"Anyone who genuinely and consistently with both hands looks for something, will find it. "
"Now is the time to unite the soul and the world. Now is the time to see the sunlight dancing as one with the shadows."
"Gamble everything for love, if you're a true human being. If not, leave this gathering."
"Let the lover be disgraceful, crazy, absentminded. Someone sober will worry about things going badly. Let the lover be."
"Why should I be unhappy? Every parcel of my being is in full bloom."

Beware the loud Bing!
The poetry is great but there is a loud, high pitched Bing Between each spoken line that is so annoying and immediately cancels out the beauty of the words. This could have been done a thousand times better! The sound of turning a page would have worked so much better, or even no sound just silence and stop.

" Like a mental multivitamin !"
A quick audible that serves up the inspirational word seekers out there , such as myself. The only thing I found indifferent from perfection was the "ding" to seperate the quotes.. Seeing as something had to seperate them and keep you tuned in, it still got the highest rating in my opinion. I have listened to this book 3 times and I bought it yesterday.
-Rumi has a way with words, so simple and effective. He is my 13th century crush.
I highly recommend this book! Find yourself a quote from him that pertains directly to you- because I assure you, there will be one. Such a great poet, such a great book.. Thankful his collection has been made available to us in this day and age.
