Loved this book, both for the main characters and all the spice between them 🌶🔥, but also for the
introduction to the Langfield Brothers, who I had already met in Mother Faker (which I had listened to first).
Looking forward to more books to follow in this series, which is brilliantly written. Fantastic Duet Narration by the always amazing SebYo, and the new to me Janine Granda. They worked really well together to deliver the heat, love and passion.

A little taboo and a whole lot romantic, get ready for Revenge Era! Brittanee Nicole had me, completely invested in this story from the first chapter. Lake is a popular singer, nice as can be and always seen in a positive way. But now she has made a spectacle of herself when she finds her boyfriend cheating on her with her tour manager! Ford to the rescue. Ford is not only the owner of her record label, but the father of her boyfriend. Ford has been attracted to Lake since he first saw her, but never acted on it. After all, she is the same age as his kids. But now, her best revenge is sitting right in front of her. Will they act on their mutual attraction? And is it really revenge? This book is packed with so much! Not only the taboo of dating your boss, the age gap and the father of her ex, but there is a lot of self realization and understanding what is best for their lives. I enjoyed the spice as well as the wonder of getting to know each other. It's a sweet and spicy listen and now has turned me on to wanting more in this series.

You cannot go wrong with a narration from Janine Granda and Sebastian York. These two are so good and fit their parts perfectly. Granda has a fantastic voice for new adult women, and she tunes into Lake's mind and pulls out all of her emotions. York gets Ford, and gives him a nonchalance without making him uncaring. I loved these two together and enjoyed their performance.

Love is found in the most unsuspecting places!
