Sweet & Spicy Revenge! Great Story & Narration🎧
Brittanée Nicole pens a beauty of a novel, and revenge has never been sweeter or even steamier. Lake Paige is a pop star sensation and has been dating Paul Ford for almost two years. That was until she catches him in a compromising position with her tour manager and she breaks up with him. Lake, known for her kindness and good girl image, goes out that night and tears up the town. Her publicist catches wind of this and calls Ford, the owner of the record label she works for, and Paul’s father, and he goes to rescue her from her own self. Ford knows his son was wrong and him to stay out of the limelight, but nope, the idiot has to post pictures of his new beau, which is another blow for Lake and her friend suggests she has a revenge relationship and she goes on the prowl, and when Ford butts in she her revenge plan gets even sweeter. The chemistry between Lake and Ford was sizzling hot, he felt an attraction to her from the moment they met, because of circumstances he kept it to himself. Ford shows Lake how a real man treats a woman, in the spiciest of ways. Could this revenge fling turn into something more? I loved how everything played out in this fabulous off limits romance novel. How could something so wrong feel so right? The story has a perfect balance of drama, angst, heartfelt emotions, and steamy romance. The writing, plot and world building are fantastic, as are the character growth and development. Brttanée Nicole, thank you for another fabulous story and emotional rollercoaster ride.
🎧📚🎧 And for the wonderful narration, Janine Granda and Sebastian York, as always, do an amazing job of bringing these characters and story to life. Their portrayal of the characters is spot on, with Granda nailing it as Lake, grasping every aspect of her personality, from her sweet side to her naughty side. York falls into Ford’s role naturally, delivering a swoon-worthy performance. They set the perfect tone for the story, capture all the character’s emotions and have you feeling each one. These entertaining storytellers are a pleasure to listen to and their narration enhances this already fabulous story to another level. Thank you for another amazing listen.

Love is found in the most unsuspecting places!
A little taboo and a whole lot romantic, get ready for Revenge Era! Brittanee Nicole had me, completely invested in this story from the first chapter. Lake is a popular singer, nice as can be and always seen in a positive way. But now she has made a spectacle of herself when she finds her boyfriend cheating on her with her tour manager! Ford to the rescue. Ford is not only the owner of her record label, but the father of her boyfriend. Ford has been attracted to Lake since he first saw her, but never acted on it. After all, she is the same age as his kids. But now, her best revenge is sitting right in front of her. Will they act on their mutual attraction? And is it really revenge? This book is packed with so much! Not only the taboo of dating your boss, the age gap and the father of her ex, but there is a lot of self realization and understanding what is best for their lives. I enjoyed the spice as well as the wonder of getting to know each other. It's a sweet and spicy listen and now has turned me on to wanting more in this series.
You cannot go wrong with a narration from Janine Granda and Sebastian York. These two are so good and fit their parts perfectly. Granda has a fantastic voice for new adult women, and she tunes into Lake's mind and pulls out all of her emotions. York gets Ford, and gives him a nonchalance without making him uncaring. I loved these two together and enjoyed their performance.

Loved Lake & Ford ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Loved this book, both for the main characters and all the spice between them 🌶🔥, but also for the
introduction to the Langfield Brothers, who I had already met in Mother Faker (which I had listened to first).
Looking forward to more books to follow in this series, which is brilliantly written. Fantastic Duet Narration by the always amazing SebYo, and the new to me Janine Granda. They worked really well together to deliver the heat, love and passion.
