Gavin may have just taken the award for my favourite Langfield brother. This book has so many incredible tropes (single dad, dad’s best friend) and I loved seeing the characters grow together and in their time apart. It was especially heartwarming to see Millie coming into her own.

Now… let’s talk about THE PIANO??? Gavin??? Excuse me?? Give that man anything he wants because wow.

I just love how Brittanee writes, and having her characters come to life by my two favourite narrators, Jason and Avery, is honestly just the cherry on the cake.
