Summary

Given the way love turned her heart in the New York Times best-selling To All The Boys I've Loved Before, which School Library Journal called a "lovely, lighthearted romance", it's no surprise that Laura Jean still has letters to write.

Lara Jean didn't expect to really fall for Peter. She and Peter were just pretending. Except suddenly they weren't. Now Lara Jean is more confused than ever. When another boy from her past returns to her life, Lara Jean's feelings for him return too. Can a girl be in love with two boys at once?

In this charming and heartfelt sequel to the New York Times best seller To All the Boys I've Loved Before, we see first love through the eyes of the unforgettable Lara Jean. Love is never easy, but maybe that's part of what makes it so amazing.

redhat queen

I really enjoyed this book very much. It was so interesting and exciting to hear about young love. I enjoyed the first book too. It was like bringing memories back when I was in High school. Young love is very precious. Great writing and a fantastic narrator.

Wished I'd stopped after the first one

The previous book was sweet and ended at a good point. This book highlights a bunch of bad qualities in Peter that make him a glaringly bad choice for Laura Jean, she has become just another stupid teenage girl. I couldn't just enjoy the story because the main character is bent on being with an incompatible, lying narcissist, and does not respect herself because she makes excuses for his disloyal behavior and goes back to him

Satisfying

I enjoyed all of the characters in the first book, but in this book I absolutely fell in love with Peter entirely. I cannot wait to listen to the next one! I am going to start it now. I enjoy these stories and hope to listen to some other Jenny Han books in the future ~

Very sweet story!

Super sweet book, the characters are all portrayed like any teenager of today. The nostalgic references of days past, like writing letter on real stationery mixed with the fast paced technology driven world and way of communication today made the story real and sweet. Its a live story, friend story, sister story and daughter story all mixed into one.

If you live for cringe

This was a bittersweet listen for me personally. I really enjoy the stages of life and love Lara Jean goes through and I find them uncomfortably relatable. The writing is peak cringey teen but in a way that reminds me of teenage me who I just want to stuff in a closet out of embarrassment. It's cathartic to listen to Lara Jean go through the cringe and come out okay on the other side.
There wasn't anything ground breaking or shocking (which I wasn't looking for anyway) but the story telling is enjoyable and endearing. I also enjoyed Ali Ahn's performance. She brought a lot of sincerity and warmth to Lara Jean I don't know I would have felt if I'd just read this on my own.
