Helpful

I enjoyed the book, it wasn’t full of examples and references to studies to pad it out which many books seem to do and gave me some food for thought which I will find very helpful.

Fantastic!

I can highly recommend this book. It has been written by an experienced professional who has lots of useful and practical advice. It is also full of examples, stories and anecdotes - I didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I did. It has really challenged my core beliefs about anger and I think it will make a real difference to how I cope with angry feelings.

Excellent Short Book

A really useful and thought provoking book. In a short space of time the author introduces some very straightforward and accessible strategies for change. It has completely altered how I view internal thought processes and emotions. Thoroughly recommended.

Helpful

A pacy and easily digestible series of short accounts of sensible and hopefully achievable approaches to reducing A and I. Very listenable and forgiving.

Pretty informative

Fairly useful, its a short book so you can repeat it to understand examples of why certain extreme moods may overcome you. There is an exercise at the end although its just to sit there and breathe for 5 minutes.... download the headspace app if you want a better exercise thats similar

Helpful but a bit brief and with some strange examples

Overall I would recommend you buy this and use it amongst other resources on anger. Very helpful in places, good coverage of the basics of anger but skips over some of the key things (like alcohol consumption, mindfulness and exactly how to do anger management techniques) rather quickly. Some of the examples used are also very odd/dated! Will have to use in conjunction with other books/therapy etc.
