phenomenally sharp analysis of OCD a

This is book is brisk, fast, sharp, deep--and accurate. The author obviously has 'inside information', and has organized it, with beyond-all-belief acuity. If Nietzsche knew about OCD, it would be this. A little edgy for some.

insightful about gender

and sexuality, albeit in a rather freudian way. nettle-graspingly resolute, sometimes mysogynist (but semi-accurately so). instructive, taught me some moves, if nothing else,

absolutely brilliant

this is the most incisive 'insider' look at ocd i have ever read. the author clearly has inside knowledge, and he also has a mass of erudition and carefully honed intelligence. plus, it's really raw and real and accurate. yes, there is some disturbing and politically incorrect material, but that is because, as the author shows, a certain degree of political incorrectness, especially in relation to matters relating to sexuality, is deeply ingrained in ocd. a phenomenal work. highly recommend

Good until it’s very sexist

The first hour was very interesting with some excellent ideas. However, around the hour mark there is an entire essay on how a woman is defunct without an assertive man. It talks about how feminists are psychopaths and their cries of psychopathy should not Ben succumbed to by men as it shows weak will. I then looked at the cover and saw two skimpily dressed women and it suddenly all made sense.

I was really enjoying this until this essay, which shows its overall discredit. Such a shame that the author has such flawed thinking.
