"Nestos" è un chiaro riferimento alla letteratura epica greca dei nòstoi, ma il ritorno per l'autore assume un valore e un significato inedito: tornare a se stessi più consapevoli, arricchiti spiritualmente dell'esperienza del viaggio che ognuno è chiamato a compiere, perché alla fine del tempo vissuto l'uomo non può tirare le somme e considerarsi come uno sbaglio dell'universo.
