Summary

Getting away from it all can be hard.

When an LA private investigator heads to Colorado to see an old buddy and get in a little fishing, he walks squarely into a murder investigation. It’s like he never left home, and he was looking forward to a relaxing time in the country. The victim, a reporter for the local paper, worked for his friend Jimmy who retired there. Now, Jimmy is calling in favors. The local sheriff isn't an exactly a go-getter, and Jimmy wants to ensure the killer is found. Old friendships can make for high-maintenance situations.
