About this listen

Ryker Hayes has found some peace, but something inside tells him his quest isn't over.

With the threat posed by the orcs gone and the whispers of war reduced to distant murmurs, Ryker and the women at the Magic Touch Inn feel as though they're entering something of a golden age. Indeed, business is booming despite everything, and they have a powerful new ally in the form of the Elven duchess Elmielstra.

But that isn't to say Ryker has no problems. He needs to figure out how to use his magic hands to restore Darina Muchmilky's abilities as a taurian milkmaid, for one thing. And then, he needs to figure out how to respond to rumors that he is Ivan the Scourge in hiding. Brook also seems to think that he hasn't yet fulfilled his purpose in Werifesteria, whatever it might be.

Ryker doesn't care much about that. He's happy to spend his time with his demonkin, orc, elf, and catgirl girlfriends.

If only it were that simple.

Tho this book felt very rushed because the author wanted to end the series in a conclusive way, it was packed with the content you would expect like horny moments to solidify partnership and action filled bits where MC got to use his mastery.
Ending got me shedding some tears but I was also happy because there were no unnecessary deaths in the main crew to make the story more grim or exiting but still it was sad to know that it ended like that with no loose ends where you could speculate if there might come one more book, there might, but not from the same perspective and much further in to the future.

ps. MC was probably the guy who invented hamburgers in solar dragons need love too XD

Sad to say goodbye.

Really enjoyable series and kinda bummed it's finished in just 3 books since there was a lot of early world building which could have led to a longer running series.

Shame it ended so soon

At my request I received a copy of this audiobook in order to give a fair and unbiased review.

Genre: Isekai slice of life harem with monster girls. Running an inn with wellness and massage.

Power dynamics in harem: Girls competing for MC's affection. Strong willed but wants what is best for him.
Explicit/adult material: Explicit, naughty and hot.

Summary:
Ryker and his women have business booming and relationships and alliances are established for our little inn.

Narrators
Voice diversity: The characters have memorable voices and the characters feel alive.
Pacing and intonation: The storytelling was immersive and I was carried away to this world in a binge listen.
Sex scenes: Naughty and fun. Well done.
Reneé Nolen and Trevor Jordan does a great job at bringing the story to life.
Overall: 5 / 5 stars.

The book’s strengths.
- The women have strong and distinct personalities. This series is so much about the characters.
- The flirtation and relationship development between the MC and his girls is really engaging. I am invested in the characters, their life and their journey. I wish this was not the end.
- It is fun. I was chuckling to myself many times throughout at a small play on words or reference.
- Great narration

The book’s weaknesses.
- All ends are nicely tied up, I am happy that the series got a last book to finish it off, but the pacing was different and felt like a long plotline condenced to a shorter one.

Overall: 4/5 stars
