Summary

Ever sent a letter to the wrong person by mistake? I did, when I was eight years old, and then I was visited by the Lord of Hell himself. But there was no real mistake. Not then when I was just a kid, and not now that I’m a woman.

I wanted a puppy for Christmas. And a puppy is what I got. Only, Melkor, son of the Lord of Hell’s finest hellhound warrior, was given to me not as a gift, but as a guardian. And when Melkor goes missing, I’m given the only option a best friend has.

I fight fire with fire and become a woman possessed - a mortal woman, that is. He’s been my best friend and my guardian for almost my entire life. But now, as I travel to the underworld to save him, I realize he’s so much more.

Melkor says after me, "Hell is easy!"

I guess I’m about to find out.

Exciting

It was wonderful to listen to a story about a normal sized heroine. I found this book thoroughly entertaining, it is exciting and very funny in places. The narration is brilliant and definitely adds to the enjoyment of this book.

Asks the lord of Hell for a puppy ...... priceless

Format: audiobook
Narrator: Heather Murdoch

Purity has always known she’s different, the Lord of Hell knew her destiny when his first laid eyes on her as a young child after she wrote to Him, asking for a puppy for Christmas! he gave her Melkor a Hell hound.
A fantastic story spanning both the underworld and the mortal realm.
I love when you get so lost in a story that all you can see is the world within the pages and forget where you physically are, this story does just that.
The Narrator does a brilliant job at bringing this world and the characters to life.

What a world!!

Wow, this book really opens up your mind to a world with demons. I really like the fact that the leading lady is a fuller figure and her insecurities show like they do for us mortals. Written well, great characters and a fantastic narration.
