Summary

What was life really like on a pirate ship? Captain Rumbeard, the famous pirate (in his mind anyway) will take you through the truth and the lies about being a pirate and was life was like on a pirate ship.

In this audiobook, we will aim to find out the real truth about pirates and their lives on their ships on the high seas.

All the famous pirates, like Blackbeard and Charles Vane, were the real life Pirates of the Caribbean. They had great adventures and became very rich. But life as a pirate, or as privateer as they were sometimes called, was hard.

In this book, we will find out how people became pirates, after all it wasn't a skill that was taught in school. We will learn the important rules that all pirates had to live by; this was called the Pirate Code. We will find out what pirates ate; it wasn't hot dogs and hamburgers. Pirates didn't have bedrooms; they didn't even have beds, find out where pirates slept. The captain was the most important person on the ship; he had the power of life or death, learn what little extras the captain of the ship enjoyed. Of course, pirate life wasn't all adventure and fun in the sun, there were many problems as well, we will find out what those problems were. Sometimes a pirate broke the all-important pirate code, find out how they were punished if they did so. How did the pirate ship look and what weapons did the pirates use? We will answer both of those important questions.

When you know all about life on a pirate ship then, you will be ready to join the crew of the Black Ghost and become a famous pirate of the Caribbean as well.
