About this listen

Sweetpea TV series starring Ella Purnell now on Sky Atlantic!

She’s back and killing for two…

Rhiannon Lewis should be happy.

Her cheating fiancé is in jail – framed for the depraved killing spree she committed. Her ex-lover is chopped up and buried where no-one will find him.

But there’s one small problem. She’s pregnant.

And as much as Rhiannon wants to continue working her way through her kill lists, a small voice inside is trying to make her stop.

Now Rhiannon has to choose – motherhood or murder.

Sad, sick, twisted, disturbing and deliciously dark humour are all in here. This books picks up literally where the other left off.
Rhinannon is back in business, this book started well, I did get a bit disappointed in the middle as I thought it was quite flat and could not see how it would get going again, but then it took off really well. In hindsight it wasn’t flat it was setting up for the next rollercoaster ride. Without giving any spoilers away this book is great and it ends setting itself up for a third instalment. I can’t see one in the pipeline on google, but surely a 3rd book is in the making? It can’t be left there. Surely?

I really enjoyed listening to this. Narrator was brilliant.

Gordon Ramsey clap - done ✅

Will not appeal to everyone bit like marmite but if you are a fan of Nordic noir, Villanelle or Jane Doe then this is a gem.

Read this first on Kindle as a suggested book offer and got through it in a couple of days. The audio version was also a sale offer and was if anything more enjoyable.

Georgia Maguire has the perfect voice and characterization for the story even if her Ray Winston is a bit iffy.

A good listen/read from the start to finish.

C.J Skuse definitely in my wish list.

So!! good

I listened to the two books in this series back to back and loved both
New twists and turns in the second one but stays true to the first books story
You will laugh gasp and shriek your way though it
Narrated beautifully by Georgia Maguire
I really hope that she does another book in this series I need to know what happens next
