great listen. narrator voice was good to listen to and the descriptive nature of the story is enhanced in audio form.

Very slow moving. I sometimes battled to hear the narrator. An anti-climatic ending. Very good story line which I feel.the author did not use to her full advantage.

Clever and absorbing, sharply portrayed through the observations and memories of young rock climber, Alex Jackson, who’s in a prolonged coma following a near fatal fall.

Emily Koch’s attention to detail threads through the narrative like lightning as Alex attempts to piece together what happened to him that fateful day, while wishing his visitors or medical team would notice his brain is still alive - making the tension for the reader almost unbearable.

Finlay Robertson narrates the novel to perfection, bringing the characters’ voices and personalities to the drama effortlessly.

My Sister in law was reading this book (paperback), the blurb attracted me and I down loaded it to my audible library. The man reading... his voice was so thoughtful and was perfectly contemplative. Once I started listening I couldn't stop. ive had a couple of family members in his medical situation and it is all so accurate. This author isn't one of my usual, but I shall follow and read more of her work! a bit of a tearjerker too!
