Summary

In less than 60 minutes of listening to this audiobook, you will have heard the original United States Constitution.

To improve your understanding of the Constitution, we have included original readings and commentary related to this subject, such as the drafting and ratification of the Constitution, the historical influences on the Constitution, and the Anti-Federalists.

This information will furnish you with original source material, giving you a fuller understanding of the context and events surrounding the Constitution. Whether you are doing a book report for school or just want to brush up on your American history, this is a great place to start. These are the subjects covered:

  • Early American history: a document timeline
  • Drafting and ratification of the Constitution
  • Historical influences on the Constitution
  • Reading of the Constitution
  • Simply Notes
  • Questions for discussions and essays

This product is part of the Simply Magazine Great Thought series, which emphasizes short readings so you can spend your valuable time thinking about the subjects, with time to re-listen to these original works. It's easy to find what you're looking for, because tracks are organized by subject. For example, many people in book clubs discuss the subject after each track. This also works well for teachers, especially as track lengths are relatively short.

    🎆Adventurous Conversations Following this Topic☕️

☕️I recommend this Audiobook in all of it's forms to All who are interested in actually knowing the details of The Constitution. I'm curious as to what this Legal Document will look like in 1-100& especially beyond years🇺🇸. I've read it before and have heard parts of it, never all at once understood it in it's entirety. Wow if 'The People' only knew & understood the discrepancies of this document and our Laws today. I'm Surprised. 😳

    Terrible Narration

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

Yes. It is well worth listening to, but it is a painful experience due to the poor quality of the narration.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

First of all, the narrator's strong accent itself is enough to grate on the nerves. He frequently pauses awkwardly mid-sentence, as if trying to find his place.

    Any additional comments?

Every American citizen should be well acquainted with the Constitution, but if one wishes to obtain an audio recording of it, I would strongly recommend that they listen to the sample first.
