I know how it feels to live with social anxiety 24/7, 365 days a year. The suffering, the shame, the lack of understanding from family and friends. The feeling that no one really understands what you're going through. I understand.

    I had high hopes for this - high hopes were dashed within minutes. Same old stuff, repeated again. No help whatsoever, i have already read on this advice for free on the internet.

    "This book is a treasure!"

    Stumbled across this gem of a book and glad I did. It's so honest and genuine and written and narrated by a person who clearly truly understands Social Anxiety and what it feels like.
    It's not like most books where it's all theory, Tobias has lived through and overcome his social anxiety and this is really apparent in the way he writes and understands his readers/listeners.
    He is direct yet sympathetic and nothing is left out or put into this unpretentious book that he doesn't truly appreciate is required.

    Sound, well researched, sincere advice and experience imparted with a genuine desire to help and material and support to back it up on his website apparently.

    I think the author should be proud of what he's done and will help a lot of people. I wish him much success with this book.

    "The beginning"

    I think it could warrant some better organization, but it feels like a good friend is telling you their story and how they overcame it. A lot of good tips, and feels genuine coming from someone who suffered the exact thing you are seeking relief from. I did enjoy that many times throughout Tobias would interject with affirmations, like, "you should be proud of yourself for taking this step to listen to this book" etc, and I'm not sure why but I loved those affirmations; they really added to the overall feeling of warmth. I will be listening to this over a few times again to let it all sink in, and as a continual reminder. Thanks so much Tobias!
