Jetzt sind der Großvater und seine Enkel also wieder vor Ort. Sie finden ein verlassenes Zelt, darin, merkwürdig, die litauische Übersetzung des Buchs, das der Großvater über das erste Abenteuer am Dreihöhlenberg geschrieben hat. In dem Buch befindet sich eine Karte der Umgebung von Hand korrigiert - jemand hat die Gegend erkundet. Ein närrischer Leser? Aber der lässt doch sein Buch nicht zurück. Der Großvater wird misstrauisch. Und sein Misstrauen erweist sich als begründet.

Eine ganz zauberhafte Geschichte mit witzigen Szenen, urkomischen Ideen und philosophischen Dialogen, in der es vor allem um die Beziehung zwischen Großvater und Enkeln geht. Die ganze Familie könnte dieses Buch lesen. Für jeden ist etwas dabei.
