Summary

Two books in one

Book 1: Golden Retriever Complete Guide: Learn How to Raise and Train Your Golden Retriever

Book 2: House Training Guide for Your Golder Retriever: Everything You Need To Know For Effective House Training

Most people love golden retrievers because they are so friendly and mild tempered. This is why so many dog owners try their best to get these beautiful animals. Training is essential for all dogs and all owners should make time every day to lay out some basic training and fun activities. In doing so, you will not only groom a well-behaved dog, but you will also create a lasting bond with your dog.

The Golden Compass" is a wonderfully complex and imaginative story, expertly read by a cast that breathes life into the role of Lyra and her supporting characters. I could hardly stop listening, at each step a new adventure develops around Lyra and the alethiometer. The character of the armored bear is simply delightful. This is more than a children's story and reads faster than Harry Potter. I highly recommend this book to both children and adults.

I had read this book before, but got the Audible version for my daughter once I thought she was old enough. I was gripped! Pullman's reading and the acting are just better than anything I've ever heard in Audible fiction before. Totally stunning.

good book

One of the best stories I have read in a long time. Very imaginative and thought inspired. A great book for persons who know how to use their imagination. Not a good book for devoutly religous persons who tend not to let other ideas in. I think they just forgot that this was a "fictional" story. My teenage daughter loved it and so did several of my teenage nephews. Both of my sisters are looking forward to reading it. Fabulous story!!!

he only critique is the sound mix-went from barely audible to extremely loud. Made it difficult to adjust volume. Otherwise, loved the imagination it inspires. Thank you

great book

his is one of the great books of our time. It isn't children's literature; it's literature. "His Dark Materials" is every bit the equal of "The Lord of The Rings." A gripping plot, fascinating characters, continually surprising, the story grows from the intimate to the hugely epic and never lets the reader go. Thematically bold and magnificent, beautifully written, astonishingly imaginative, deeply rooted in classic literature but thoroughly contemporary. The audio performance is fantastic. This is the best story I've read or listened to in decades. I can't recommend it highly enough for anybody from eight to one hundred and eight.

great

All books in this series are just wonderful. The story is creative and new, the characters are complex and fascinating, and it is full of shifts and turns that keep you wondering what the author is getting at. I want to listen to the series several times to try and unfold the layers. But, other than the main characters being children, I have a hard time seeing these as children's books. Evan for a middle-aged woman who has spent considerable time mulling over religion, spirituality, and the true nature of man, the themes in the series can be unsettling and disturbing. I imagine for younger or less "mature" readers, this could be just plain confusing and distressing. If your kids are deep thinkers, and you intend to discuss the book with them, it could open the way for some very engaging exploration and discussion. But if your kids are younger, don't be fooled by the cute little "demons" and bears, this book could be very frightening, and could raise questions about God, parents, society, and life they simply may not have the life experience to sort through without help. But if you are over 21, you might as well download all three books now, and wait until you have some serious down time before you start, because these books will suck you in.

good book

This book has provided us some good tips for our puppy. It breaks things down by age and helps explain what the puppy should be doing at what age. What I have since found is that almost all of the information is readily available via a google search, so if there are specific things you need, you might want to save your money.

this book has a lot to offer. Comprehensive book for training labs and other sporting breeds. Clear pictures aid the trainer to see what should be done. While a book is never the only resource to help train a sporting dog, this one is the best I've used. You still need to spend time with your dog and make necessary corrections, but the book allows the trainer to go back and review practices and adjust training as needed. While Wildrose does promote its own dogs and products in the book--such as the leash options--but the authors give justification for them and they make sense.
