Searching for perfect is the second in the "Search for" series. Recently, Probst concluded the "Married to a Billionaire" series which started and finished strong. In this new story line, she uses a match-making service (Kinnections) as her platform. In the first book Kate, the owner, found her match. In this one, Kennedy finds hers. As with most of these plots, you kind of know what coming. Probst adds in enough suspense, detail and mystery to keep the listener ttitalated. I like the depth of her characters.
The universe of characters in the series grows stronger, which is necessary element to any series. Although this is definitely not a YA adult romance, the sultry bits are quite restrained and not the focus. This novel emphasizes the strength of the main character (Kennedy) and her determination to resist change.
Madeleine Maby does an exceptional job at narration. She had narrated many other of Probst's novel. This novel stands alone without reading novel one. You could read novel 2 and then novel 1 without too many spoilers. In conclusion, I recommend this novel and the series. Keep them coming.

Would you consider the audio edition of Searching for Perfect to be better than the print version?
Yes, we can't go wrong with Madeleine Maby! I love Jennifer Probst books, they are always entertaining! This is one of my favorites so far.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Searching for Perfect?
I loved Nate character, he was a perfect nerd. He was so direct with women, I totally got them. I wished more men would be more direct like them. There was some parts that I couldn't stop laughing.
What does Madeleine Maby bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
I'm never disappointed in Madeleine, she brings it all together. She gets into her character and does a great job!
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Kenni drove me crazy, I can understand her insecurities, but she kept bringing up the past. The touchy scene was the bedroom, when Kenni and Nate see each other at Jena's engagement party and Wolf was in the middle of Nate professing his love to Kenni.
Any additional comments?
What was a cliffhanger for me was Jena's trouble, when is Jena's and Wolf's story going to come out? Overall, it's a great book to listen too!

If it weren't for the loveable nerd in this book it would have been a 1.5-2 at very best. If you're looking for a quirky love story, stop here.

I love when a story can make you laugh. this plot is fresh for current times and really pulled me in and made me laugh. I love the main man. I love that he struggled so much with dating. I think the nerdy element is what really caught my attention. and to forewarn the reader, the sex scenes are very steamy.

What made the experience of listening to Searching for Perfect the most enjoyable?
I really liked that the male in this story wasn't an 'Alpha', yet he was still funny and sexy. It was refreshing because this is the first story I have listened to that the guy wasn't a dominating control freak, who was perfect looking in every way. Kennedy's attraction to Nate developed over time.
What other book might you compare Searching for Perfect to and why?
Searching for someday...the first book in the series. There were similar storylines in each one.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes, and I did...may have not been the most productive thing to do this long weekend, but it sure was enjoyable.
Any additional comments?
Normally I like books that are full of smexyness. There was only a little of that in this one....but it sure was good.

This one started off a little slower than the first one but once the rhythm was established the pace was picked up

Okay. I'm a fan of Madeleine Maby and Jennifer Probst both and this series is great so far but there are just some chapter in this book that I couldn't concentrate on because there seem to be some kind of recording voice in the background. And I'm not imagining it. I listened for it too when it seems to have gone away but then a few chapter after and it happens again. Anyway, besides that, the book is good just like the last. Can't wait for the next one.
