Too old to breed but still good to eat.
The silver ship in the sky might have caused unease and consternation but the black ship that replaced it caused terror. These aliens, faster, taller and bulkier than humans and making sounds similar to those who had been sick with the virus, were very different from those who came first. They were on Earth to feed, and they were hungry. So few humans left, what hope do they have?
Again written mostly with quite short, simple sentences which increase the tension, Battle of the Hunted, follows the handful of survivors met in the previous book in their attempts to live through the arrival of the Shroud. Tim Jackson again narrates, his pleasant mellow voice with just a tiny undertone of the sinister is perfect for this book also. His pace is not fast, no histrionics, but steady, which curiously increases the tension. His voicing of each protagonist is individual and appropriate.
My thanks to the rights holder of The Batt!e of the Hunted, who,at my request, freely gifted me with a complimentary copy, via Audiobook Boom. Best started at the beginning with book one, this has become an absorbing and scary series

3rd book in the series
Book 3 in this series continues to follow the survivors' struggles in a world where most of the population has died. With the new threat which was introduced in book 2, they have more threats to deal with. As with the previous books, the story moved along at a good pace and the narrator did well with the text. Well worth a listen if you enjoy horror/scifi with a twist.

Book three Dystopia
You have to read the others to know what is going on otherwise you'll get yourself confused. This carries on from where we were left in book two. We find out more about the alien spiecies and about the humans that knew.
It is fast paced and full of tension. This book gets your heart pumping with nail biting moments but because of the violence I would not recommend you listen to it while you eat. you have been warned.
Dying to find out what happens next.
Would recommend.

Another epic book in the serise.
The scourge are merciless and hunting anything they can for food, humans are on the menu.
The Order are merely trying to escape from the scourge and trying to blend with humans, and escape from slavery.
This is another epic book in the serise, it's brilliantly written and the narration is flawless.
it seemlessly flows and deffinatly keep you entertained.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this serise.
5 STAR....
