Summary

Our heroes Veronica (Gemma Whelan) and Gary (Rufus Hound) have been selected to be the first to exit luxurious Fallout Shelter 7421, since the apocalypse of many generations ago.

Simpleton Gary is up for exploring, but Veronica is determined to hide around the corner for two weeks, eating baked beans. Disaster strikes when they are captured by slavers and thrown into a prison cell. There they meet up with deluded, self styled pirate queen Lady Reaver (Sindhu Vee) and her hideously deformed mutant Clump (Marek Larwood).

Despite their collective incompetence, they escape, but Veronica and Gary are now lost in the desolate wilderness of post-Armageddon Britain. How will they ever get back to civilisation?

Sheltered, Hilarious, outrageously funny!

This review covers the entire 6 episodes of 'Sheltered'. I grew up on Fawlty Towers, Blackadder, Monty Python and The Young Ones, and this is right up that same street. It's typical british sarcastic black humour, and it's done fantastically.
The characters, sound effects and voice actors are just perfect, totally enjoyed this. My only gripe is that it's too short!! I want more of this!

Silly but enjoyable stories

This is not highbrow entertainment but so enjoyable. The voices of the actors fitted the characters perfectly. This is set in a post apocalyptic world where the 'heros' are trying to find their way back to the shelter, and thus encountering adventures along the way. All the characters are flawed , yet still have their own distinct personality. When listening I found that it reminded me of the series Red Dwarf so if you enjoyed that, you will probably enjoy this...it is that style of story in each episode, so do not expect them to be realistic. Just enjoy.

Good fun

I found this episode a lot of rather silly fun and am looking forward to the next part. With the Covid 19 virus running unchecked in England, this story is just the diversion I need. The performers are good. The background music, not too intrusive and the story fast paced.

Brilliantly silly!

Starts off a little silly but just becomes excellent slapstick humour, laughed out loud throughout, great voices and highly enjoyable.

Ripping Yarns

Great, silly, cartoon fun. I loved it. Like Terry Pratchett wrote a version of Mad Max. Don't be put off by negative reviews, it's, a nice wee break from reality that you don't have to think about. Just relax and enjoy a romp through the Apocalyptic New World.

Ok, just ok.

Reminded me of Red Dwarf which it was much better.
Ok for changing the pace.
Good thing it is free.

Amusing

I enjoyed this lighthearted story and well acted comedy. Far fetched, but that's the point.

It may be free but it is awful.

Not funny in the slightest. What were the actors thinking as they ploughed through this rot?

Offensive

How is acceptable to use slavery for humour??? Truly unacceptable and offensive. Shocking that this is marketed under comedy.
