Story
I ran. Escaped the man who wanted to hurt me. I got in my car and drove. No destination. No direction. No help. I hid in the one place I would never be found. Now in New York with no job, I didn’t know what to do. Then I met him. Jaxson Price. The enigmatic devil who wasn't only above the law, but played it like a puppet. He might be the answer to all my problems. Too bad he's asking for something in return for his help.... My heart.

Story
The first time I met Hudson Rothschild was at a wedding. I’d received an unexpected invitation to one of the swankiest venues in the city. Hudson was a groomsman and quite possibly the most gorgeous man I’d ever laid eyes on. He asked me to dance, and our chemistry was off the charts. I knew it wasn’t a good idea to get involved with him, considering the wedding I was at. But our connection was intense, and I was having a great time. Though the fun came to a screeching halt when Hudson figured out I wasn’t who I’d said I was.

Story
From USA Today bestseller Ava Harrison comes a sexy new standalone romance novel. I needed to get away. My ex was getting married. So, I left. The English countryside was a picture-perfect escape. The dashing stranger an even better one. And what started as a chance encounter quickly became more. He promised to show me how to live, how to feel alive and forget a past best forgotten. He made me believe things could be different. That was until I found out who he was...he was Oliver Blackthorn. The 16th Earl of Lockhart. Thirty-third in line to the throne. And a liar.

One night. No names. No commitment. That was our agreement. But Spencer Lancaster was addictive. And I was high. High off his taste, starved for his kiss, and desperate for his touch. So when he asked me to stay, to enjoy his company for more nights than I knew I should, I wasn't in the right mind to say no. Everything was perfect. A dream come true. But half a world away, there were secrets. Lies. Insecurities. All of the truths that could tear us apart.

My love story all started with a letter. Only it wasn’t from the man I’d eventually fall in love with. It was from his daughter. A sweet little girl named Birdie Maxwell who’d written to the magazine that I worked for. You see, once a year my employer fulfilled a few wishes for readers. Only that column didn’t start up again for months. So I fulfilled some of her wishes myself. It was harmless…so I thought. Until one day I took things too far. While anonymously granting yet another of Birdie’s wishes, I got a look at her father.

Summary
Eight years ago, I gave Grayson Price a piece of my heart.
To him, I was the strange girl whose mom had just abandoned her.
To me, he was a savior, an anchor, someone who stood beside me on that beach.
The next time I saw him, I was 20, and he was 36.
He didn't remember me. And when he flirted...I didn't tell him.
By the time he found out, it was too late. We tried to deny our desire, but our attraction was too enticing.
Eight years ago, I gave Grayson Price a piece of my heart.
Too bad he’s my dad’s best friend.

Captivating!
Taboo isn't exactly my favorite trope; in fact, I usually skip it; BUT when Ava Harrison writes one and gets Sebastian York to narrate, I sit up and pay attention!
River Reid fell in love with her Dad's best friend, Grayson Price, 12 years ago after he saved her life. Grayson carries the weight of the world in his shoulders as he struggles to come to terms with the changes in his life. Not having seen each other for years, Grayson doesn't recognize River when they see each other again and he finds himself instantly attracted to her- but Greyson tries his best to keep River at arm's length after finding out who she is. Will they be able to make things work despite their age gap and her Dad being who he is in their lives?
I like that there wasn't too much drama in this story and that Grayson and River complement each other and balance each other out. Grayson was often grumpy and tried his best to be unfeeling, while Ava was trying her best to be optimistic despite of what she's been through in her relatively short life. The biggest obstacle in this story isn't the fact that River is Grayson's best friend's daughter- it's their own personal issues. The story was well written and captivating. I'm looking forward to Jaxson's story!
The audiobook was brilliantly narrated by Sebastian York and Virginia Rose. They sounded great together and brought the story to life.
Entice is a straight-forward, slow-burn, contemporary romance done in dual narrative. No cheating, no cliffhangers, and ended with a HEA.
I received this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this unbiased review.

Loved every second!
Can you imagine how awkward it would be to get involved with your best friend's son or daughter? Even more awkward for there to be a 15 year age gap?! Well, this happens to Grayson Price. The last time Grayson saw his best friend's daughter, River Reed, she was a mere 12 years old. The next time he sees her she's no longer a child - she's 20, and he doesn't even realise who she is. It’s different for River though, she knows it’s Grayson. She's never forgotten their first encounter years ago – he saved her.
I've read the book, and listened to the audiobook. Sebastian York’s portrayal of Grayson is second to none – and Virginia Rose as River was absolutely perfect – they both gave me goosebumps!
Entice is a must read I can't recommend highly enough. Ava Harrison can do no wrong! 5 stars.

Perfect forbidden romance
Absolutely loved Grayson and River so much! Grayson was the perfect older, grumpy, disillusioned guy who needed the youth and fun River could give him. Their journey together was everything, and I although I don’t always like age gap romances this didn’t feel like a big leap as River was early twenties and not totally inexperienced. Grayson was respectful but also passionately attracted to her, it felt like they were meant for each other! SebYo and Virginia were brilliant as narrators and I can’t imagine any other voices telling this story, they embodied the characters perfectly.

Sometimes you need to be burnt to feel
Gosh! This book left me with all the happy feelings and a huge smile. This book was fantastic, and I enjoyed it from beginning to end. The writing was really great, the connection and chemistry between River and Grayson just perfect, all their encounters and scenes together always felt so much more than just an "affair".
As for the narration. Ugh, forgive me, I know I am late to the party lol, but it's the first time listening to Virginia Rose and I adored her narration, it's really perfect, from her tone, inflection, emotions portrayed, she's wonderful! Sebastian York was perfect as always, his voice portrayed Greyson perfectly.

Grayson you beautiful man
I was lucky enough to experience this delicious forbidden read in audio and what can I seriously say, you all must experience but Grayson in stereo. It’s the ultimate reading experience.
Now I have read a few forbidden, age gap reads but Grayson Pierce is such a man. A man beautifully haunted by his past that emanates through his decisions in the future, until he collides with his former best friends daughter who is 15 years younger than himself.
What you experience is a tug of war of pent up frustration and a want so desirable, you feel it in your pores. It’s delicious and everything you expect from a forbidden love affair.
I highly recommend this read to everyone

I had a hard time with the heroine
I DNFd this book at chapter 17.
My biggest issue was with the heroine, River. She's 20, very nearly 21, and she struck me too often as being very immature. The author tries to explain that River has abandonment issues, and while part of me could accept that given her history, she just came across as too needy and petulant and self-pitying. "Don't leave me" is a constant refrain. The hero was annoying to me as well, although less so. He was attracted to River and his attraction to her shamed him and made him uncomfortable because she's fifteen years younger than he is, so his behavior with her was frequently brusque, rude, and angry.
I enjoy age-gap stories, and I appreciated that this one wasn't all-sex, all-the-time (as so many of them can be). While I listened to the book instead of reading it, the writing itself seemed fine and the narration was very good. My issue was largely with the characterization. I simply wasn't drawn to River and eventually found her very off-putting.

Entice had me swooning and entranced!
I’m a sucker for an age gap romance, there’s something about an older man/younger girl romance that has me swooning and entranced from the first page and Entice gave me all of this and so much more. Grayson Price brings an extra level of Forbidden by not only being the older man but also her Fathers Best Friend.
As soon as Entice hit my audible app I started listening immediately. Once I started, I couldn't bear to hit pause, i didn't want to be taken out of the story. Every time I had to hit pause I was cursing eternally for being disturbed!
Grayson Price is a force to be reckoned with, dominant in business and his personal life, he’s always in control of every situation. River Reid enters Grayson’s life when he isn’t expecting it and destroys all the control that he has in his personal life.
Grayson was a tortured man, losing his grandfather and father at young ages took its toll on him and resulted in him hiding from living life.
River Reid is a confused girl, she thinks she knows what she wants in her life, but her abandonment issues are what’s driving the decisions she makes in her life.
Grayson and River had incredible chemistry, I could feel it with every interaction they had. There instant chemistry within the first few chapters of Entice is what had me listening through the whole day until the very end of there steamy and forbidden story.
Entice is only the second audio book I’ve listened to by Ava Harrison, her stories translate so well to audio, my cheeks and ears were burning with the sexual tension she created through her words. I absolutely adore her writing style and can’t wait to devour more of her audio books!
Entice was narrated by Virginia Rose and Sebastian York. Both narrators did a fantastic job of bringing Grayson and River to life, they were emotive and believable. I loved the experience of listening to Entice.

Five stars for Entice. A beautiful story of two people who find love and fight to keep it. I also loved the narrators. Sebastian York’s voice was perfect for Grayson. He made grouchy sound so good and romantic. Entice, is one of Ava’s best! This will be one of my favorite age gap stories ever. Overall, l loved this audio.❤️

I really enjoyed listening to this book. It sucked you in right away, it was fast paced, sexy and a little angsty.
Grayson and River make an awesome couple, while Jackson and Sophie and her Dad Tyler and Kim her step mom, and Lilypad, the real mom we’re just as important to the story as they were.
I would definitely recommend.

Don't waste your time or money
I don't know what all the good reviews are about. I am so disappointed with this story. I love Ava Harrison's books and I can't believe how stupid this book is. The female lead is awful. My five year old niece acts more mature than this chick. She's annoying. I could not finish this which says a lot because I adore SY and VR, their performances were great but could not save this lame excuse for a storyline. The female lead is insecure, jealous and rude. The one person who has ever made her feel wanted and loved is her stepmother. When her stepmother announces that's she's pregnant, instead of acting like an adult, she throws a fit and acts terribly. These fantastic narrators take this fantastic story to another level!
4.5 stars. I loved this forbidden/age gap romance story. Grayson is the former best friend to River’s father. After years of not speaking, their friendship is rekindled. River has never forgotten her chance meeting with Gray and the impression her left on her. He’s moody and complex, and she has her own abandonment issues. Slowly, all the layers are peeled back and they learn to live and love.
I started off reading this book, then switched to audiobook. The narrators conveyed every emotion and scene perfectly. Well done!

immature
Sebastian York was wonderful as always.
But the story was a bit too whiney for me. The female lead was just too young.

Disappointed
Ive wanted to listen to this audiobook for months... 4 hours in i have to say im extremely disappointed. River's behavior is just horrible... yes shes been abandoned yes she has baggage but its as if her mental and emotional maturity stopped growing when she was dropped on at her dad's house. River is extremely weak, childish and because of this the story feels wrong and creepy.
