Good but not his best work
I love Ben Kane's books, particularly his historical accuracy, realism and characterisation. However, although an enjoyable read, I found this third book a bit like a really long epilogue. Inevitable I guess due to the historical events, but I was as hooked as I normally am with his work. Still good though - just not his usual outstanding level in my view.

He did it again
What did you like most about Eagles in the Storm?
The story was gritty and the descriptions of the battles are amazingly detailed
What was one of the most memorable moments of Eagles in the Storm?
Tubero's Tent I was trying not to laugh out loud while lying in bed and waking the wife.
What does David Rintoul bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?
The personalities of the characters were really brought to life but David.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I wish I had the time to listen to the whole book at once. I never wanted to turn it off.
Any additional comments?
Another great book by Ben and I hope there is another trilogy in the works for next year. No pressure ben but I'm hooked on your writing, from Hanno to Tullus the adventures have been memorable.
