Summary
Abbey
Some scary-looking aliens have just boarded Fortuna Tau, our little asteroid mining station. Kordolians, by the looks of things. What the hell do they want with this floating rust bucket? What are they even doing here?
Come to think of it, I've never seen a Kordolian up close before. They're huge and intimidating, with strange silver skin and pointed ears. They have freaky nano-armor, and they're packing a serious arsenal. We humans stand no chance against them.
When I encounter their general, I find him insufferable. Arrogant. Domineering. He won't tell me anything. I guess that's what happens when your race is kicking ass across the Nine Galaxies. You get pigheaded.
So why do I keep running into him? Why does he keep looking at me like that? And what's with this weird feeling I get when he's around? I really hope these guys fix their ship and go away soon, because I get the feeling they could be major trouble.
Tarak
Sucked into a wormhole during a fierce skirmish with an enemy ship. Spat out near a human mining station in a remote corner of the Nine Galaxies. Stuck with weak humans who operate with inferior metals and technology.
This mission couldn't get any worse.
We need to fix our craft, kill the cursed Xargek, and get out of here before the wormhole collapses. I don't really care about these humans. Their existence makes no sense to me.
So why has this strange human female captured my attention? She's messy, awkward, and she babbles nonsense half the time.
These humans are crazy. I don't understand them at all, especially this female. Why do I keep coming back to her?
I need to leave this place before I go insane.

Rather disappointing
I had hoped for a more interesting story, but found it lacking in originality, unfortunately. The dialogue was a bit cringey at times, and this was compounded by the Narration, which was pretty dreadful. Nobody wants to hear the sexy bits done in a James Earl Jones, or Trevor MacDonald newsreader style formal tone... its just wrong (although you just have to giggle at it in the end). unlikely to revisit this author or narrator. Wanted to like it, but sorry, just wasn't possible.

Really enjoyable
I was getting bored with all of my books and thought I’d give this a go. It’s not my usual read but I thought it was very good, the narration is excellent and I look forward to the rest of the series

Damn
The narrator Todd has a mighty fine voice. He gets 6 golden stars from me. I actually blushed when he narrated the more hot scenes.
The story was interesting and fun to listen too.
I felt that this had a more world built than the other wang-bang-sex stories that only exists for the hell of it.

Disappointing
The plot had promise but ultimately the book just didn't live up to it...I got so frustrated with it that I nearly gave up. It reminds me of those cheap horror films where there's always some idiot woman who hears a noise and then goes to investigate it by herself and invariably gets killed. Same with our "spunky" heroine...every time she gets told to do something for her own safety she gets a wild idea in her head and does the exact opposite...and of course nearly dies and that poor male has to go to the rescue. I really wish some writers could learn that being smart, feisty and independent does not equal potty mouth, tantrums and sexual manipulation. To be fair to the author, the book was well written and I admit 3 stars is a bit harsh...but honestly I have no patience for stupidity in real and/or imaginary life and our heroine was just too stupid to live (or at least she was that for the better part of the book).

Great Book, Good Listen
I loved the book and listening to this on school runs (after and before kids of course) has kept me sane many a morning/afternoon stuck in traffic. Not to sure about the male narrator imitating a woman’s voice though. Would have been better to have the woman do the female voice and vice versa. However still enjoyed and am ready to move onto book 2
