Summary
The Crushing Low Stakes Poker series is for anyone who is:
- Interested in making a nice side income playing online poker
- New to poker or a beginning/intermediate player
- Looking for solid strategy advice to consistently crush low stakes Sit 'n Gos
Learn how to crush low-stakes games
Most poker books and training videos on tournaments and Sit 'n Gos are by professional poker players, who play at the highest stakes. Whereas you can learn a lot from studying them, they won't always be as useful to you when you're playing at the low stakes.
Playing low-stakes games against beginning and recreational players requires a whole different strategy and approach than playing high-stakes games against the best of the best. The Crushing Low Stakes Poker series is focused specifically on low-stakes play and teaches you the proper strategy to consistently crush low-stakes Sit 'n Gos.
Volume 1: Strategy
Volume one covers all the essential things you need to know in order to become a successful low-stakes Sit 'n Go player, including:
- Critical poker concepts such as bankroll management, table selection, expressed and implied odds, and ICM
- Important elements of pre-flop and post-flop play such as playing tight-cautious, playing speculative hands, value betting, and fast-playing
- How to play optimally during all the different stages of a low-stakes SNG: low blinds, medium blinds, high blinds, push/fold, bubble, and heads-up
- An overview of the best and most popular poker tools and sites that can help analyze and improve your game as well as get an edge over your opponents
Through discussion of strategy and extensive hand examples, you will learn to master low-stakes Sit 'n Gos. Whether you're struggling with your game or simply looking to improve your results, Crushing Low Stakes Poker: Volume 1 provides you with the tools you need for success.

This book should get you on a fast track to poker success!
This is such a comprehensive book! I was surprised at how thorough the information was and how the content being covered progressed so seamlessly from the fundamentals of poker 101 onto intermediate and more advanced play.
That being said, it's not "too advanced" that the concepts become dry and academic and it's not too advanced that it no longer applies to the stakes this book focuses on (Low Stakes).
This book is like a survivors guide to Low Stakes poker and a conquerors guide in one! If you're starting from the bottom and are looking to move up through the stakes, or if you are an intermediate player looking for a great refresher or to reinforce and add to the knowledge you already have... then I recommend you read this book. I can't wait to read more content from Mike Turner! Finally, an author breaking down content that applies to the rest of us!

Best Poker series on Audible at the moment
Mike has done an excellent job in his 2-part Poker series "Crushing Low Stakes Poker". I enjoyed listening to the audiobooks and was able to learn some new strategies and insights. The two books really complement one another and share the same ideas. Volume 1 is a general strategy book, whereas Volume 2 focuses on heads-up play.
I'd say the books are perfect for beginners as they assume little prior knowledge. I have a close friend whose experience with poker was limited to the occasional home game and one of the reasons I'd recommend Mike's books is because I was astounded how they helped him develop a strong game. Don't get me wrong, you won't become a professional poker player and able to quit your job after 3 weeks just by listening to these books. You have to practice practice practice, it takes serious determination. If there was no effort needed we would all be making thousands of dollars playing poker. If you are determined to put in the work, then these guides will take you to your goals.
Intermediate and Advanced players: if you have some hours to spare I can recommend listening to this series as well. Just put it on when you're in your car to work and there will probably be some gems in there that you can use to improve your game.
The style of narration is pleasant, the book is read, but conversational enough to keep you sharp.

Amazing SNG poker audio book to listen
From great reviews, I decided to try audio version.
Very easy to follow for a person who don't like to study like me.
It's very constructive audio book. I love Mike's voice as well.
He is also very responsive when I had some questions personally for free.
I love his post flop pod cast as well. It is extremely fun and makes me focused.
Although I am familiar with some of stuffs, I learned a lot of things more that I didn't think about before.
I highly recommend this audio book to someone who is a beginner or an intermediate person who wants to improve their skills even better.
Thanks so much for this great audio book you created, Mike!

An all-in-one package
What did you love best about Crushing Low Stakes Poker: How to Make $1,000s Playing Low Stakes Sit 'n Gos, Volume 1: Strategy?
If you buy this audio book/e-book you're getting everything you need to crush it at the micros and lows. Mike Turner really wrapped up everything there is to know about poker at this level and especially about the Sit&Gos. When you read the book and learn and really understand the concepts he describes, you can basically not fail at poker.
You will have learned proper bankroll management, table selection, getting your emotions under control and the most important thing: an effective straight forward strategy which you can use to win at Sit&Gos.
I really liked the series and will definatly look out for more content of yours, Mr Turner!
