This is an excellent introduction to the study of Poker Math. You do need a basic understanding of how to play Poker before listening to this but it covers the basics concepts very well and provides an solid grounding if you want to study the topic further. The narration is very clear and the chapters are short enough that it's easy to dip back into and relisten to a particular section.

I new nothing about the concepts of poker math before I listened to this book i found it easy to understand I feel I have a good grasp of the basics of poker math now 5 stars

Very good introduction to poker math with clear reading voice. I really liked how concepts were explained and the example hands gave practical viewpoint on how to start practicing them.
There are the essentials but if you are familiar with basic stuff, the Extended edition of this book should dive much deeper into math world of poker so think twice which you get. book only takes under 2,5 hours to finish but it's a nice package of information.

I was very curious how a topic as Poker Math Essentials can be learned from an Audio Book.
Although I have read about several of these topics before, this is the first time I think I get it.

It felt to me if I was forced to focus (listen carefully) which helps to visualize the cards on the table and follow the maths.
Each topic starts with an explanation and is brought to live with several examples and the more diffult topics are explained several times.

Listening to this book is a very time effective way to learn about Poker Math Essentials.

Now I understand finally how to move to a playing style which is profitable in the long run based on rational decisions (Poker Maths).
