Summary
One of the biggest challenges speakers, trainers, and consultants face is creating a steady stream of income. When you start creating small, niche-focused one-page Web sites you'll have income streaming into your pocket, whether you're awake or asleep, at home or on the platform. Jeanette will guide you through the whys and hows of ongoing income, as she shares her experience from operating 27 Web sites.
You will learn to:
- Find the pockets of potential to be mined.
- Determine the needs of the niche, even if it's not yours!
- Create a product to fulfill the needs, even if you don't do it!
- Post an effective webpage to automate the process.
- Place your site in front of stampeding traffic.

A telephone recording!!!!!!!!
Why the Author-Jeanette Cates did not-could not take the time to produce an audible book from scratch versus a recorded telephone call is beyond description. As noted by another reviewer, the quality is terrible. Suggestion, before buying, listen to the sample.

An old idea an old interview
I agree with everyone else, I wish I'd read these other reviews before I got it. The audio quality is terrible, the tech information is completely outdated she actually recommends the overture tool over Google, because Google only serves Google trust me that's not an issue anymore! The only useful information you can glean from this call is a business model older than the internet and I can summarize it for you here. Get an eBook, and a sales letter for the eBook, either write them or commission them from professionals, and put them up on a website with a buy now button and drive traffic using a PPC advertising campaign. If you do it right it's a self-sustaining automatic money stream but that's a big IF.
There I just saved you an hour, and 5 bucks. Go have fun with your windfall.

Out of date -- out of touch
This is a phone recording, but I knew that ahead of time and do not take any stars away for that. However, this would have only (barely) been decent about 3-4 years ago... The interviewer does not push for more info ever and instead says "aaaah" or "ooook" or "mmmhmmm" as though some great knowledge had just been imparted, when in fact it had not. This information is dated and even asks you to navigate through Overture for certain features that no longer exist as described -- a call-in question was avoided by saying that "you can find the directions on the website with screenshots..." Um...what website...what screenshots...?? Again, this info is not up to date and that fact is cleverly hidden through extreme ambiguity and fast-talking. Very disappointing title.

It Took Nerve To Take My Money
Would you try another book from Jeanette Cates and/or Jeanette Cates?
Don't buy it. Sorry I did. The "interviewee's" information is dated and even the interviewer, by her tone of voice, signals skepticism about this audio book's content.
Would you be willing to try another one of Jeanette Cates’s performances?
No.
If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Create One-Page Web Sites for a Steady Income Stream?
I wouldn't have published it. Any of it.
We're beginning to see the impact of the new publishing model. Perhaps anyone can be a publisher, but not everyone will publish credible content.

Lucrative Concept
Jeannette covers a topic that's known by the few. My hat is off to her for letting this lucrative secret out that many internet entrepreneurs know and use everyday. All I can say is, "Some people will get it and some won't." If a person wants to walk away from their job for good and become a full-time, online entrepreneur, take heed.
Thanks Jeannette
