Enjoyable Cozy Mystery

Another enjoyable read in the Treasure Cove series. In Cheesecake Bars with a Side of Murder, the murder of a local business owner sets in motion a series of events which turn Sabrina Carlson's life upside down. Recommend grabbing some cheesecake bars and prepare for an adventure investing this murder with Sabrina.

David is thinking about retiring

Thinking about retirement you have David and Sabrina talking about how sad it has been that Treasure cove is changing. You are seeing more robberies and murderies. Treasure cove is changing, you have a well developed storyline. You have interesting characters. Jessica Sabrinas daughter missed a close call. Then David and Sabrina run into a problem. I will not state the storyline so you need to read to see how this book goes. I enjoyed this book. Recommend reading this as it is a great book.

great book

This was a fantastic story. Sabrina has been thinking of what it would be like to retire Seems like everyone is retiring. Shannon is robbed at her sandwich shop, Jake Williamson is found dead, His death is ruled as a heart attack. But Sabrina feels differently. So much keeps happening in there little town. Is it time to retire and move on???????

This has to be my favorite book. The part with David and the gas station can make a person think it is time to retire. This book felt like an end to one era and a new one to come.

I was gifted this book in exchange for an honest review.

Cheesecake bars soothe the soul

Sabrina Carlson has been helping her husband David solve murders for years. Now when a good friend of theirs is found dead at his office, they are off to find his killer. But what they find out is a surprise and makes them evaluate their life. This book is not only fun in it's story, seeing the quirky townsfolk, but it is a little more serious for Sabrina and David. Looking back on this series, they have been through so much and the twist that happens near the end, I can see and empathize with their plight. It's good to see Jessica and I am hoping this isn't the end! I love these two! They make me think and smile with the antics of Sabrina and seriousness of David. It's such a fun series. Stephanie Quinn brings them all to life with her narration. Her continuous voices from book to book give that feeling of familiarity and comfort of home as I listen. Always fun to hear her.

Entertaining

Cheesecake Bars With A Side Of Murder was a good mystery with suspense, intrigue and enough clues to satisfy my inner detective spirit.

This book takes place about 20 years after A Love to Buzz About and Sabrina and David have a daughter Jessica who is also a police officer.

The story is well written and kept my attention. Narrator Stephanie Quinn is relatively new to me and I enjoyed her performance although I did feel that her male voice let her down a bit.

This book was more of emotional story than other books I have listened to as Sabrina and David struggle with loss and uncertainty.
