Summary

The Library of the Profane has everything your black heart desires. But we don’t just allow anyone to get a library card.

Need to summon a demon? Raise the dead? A clan of vampires bothering you? Do you like the really nasty werewolf erotica? The Library of the Profane has all of that, but not everyone can handle the contents (Some people can’t handle their werewolf erotica). I’ve been a librarian here for five years and when I say I killed to get this job, I’m not being facetious.

You can’t check out our books. Some of the books are sentient and don’t like it. We have rooms to perform the spells in or hell, we do have a copy machine (copies are extra). When a witch came in and said they needed to do a little necromancy, I didn’t question it. They wouldn’t have been given a library card if they were going to raise someone really bad. I helped with the necromancy because it’s just my job as a librarian.

Except it wasn’t a normal resurrection. It was the physical embodiment of Chaos and when he woke up, he saw me first and now he’s attached. Chaos personified is a horrible library guest and he won’t leave with the witch who raised him. He’s constantly getting into things he’s not supposed to and he’s really into the werewolf erotica.

It’s not like I can let him out because the Library of the Profane is meant to contain Chaos. The rest of the world isn’t. He’s awful about keeping his identity secret too. A warlock, a Hellhound, and a vampire know he’s here and they are bugging me to let Chaos have a little fun.

I just want a normal day of summoning demons, cursing people, and telling people to be quiet in my library. This is too much.

Everything you ant in a story

JB Trepagnier has another hit with this story. Her word building is good. There is lots going on mystery, lots of twists and turns . The author wrote a story that has great detail and description. You have a god a vampire a cat , a witch and a warlock and shifters. What happens when they all meet They meet at the library that the demon wants to do something with it.

The performance of Anneliese Rennie, Portia Kay Winters, Austin Barringer, Carl Mason, Antonio Amato, Aaron Shedlock, Liam Di Cosimo, Mike Johnson was fantastic . Love how they did each character and you were able to tell by their tone. Each performer is very talented

Hilarious

I was not prepared for the hilarious story!
It was full of everything you could ask for, witches, warlocks, vampires, familiars, shifters, hellhounds. And a god.

There is something going on and the universe could be at stake, can this magical crew figure it out?

Lots of laughs, great banter, excellent narration! I can’t wait for the next book!

Must listen

Ever read a book that has you giggling like crazy and then on the edge of your chair from suspense? If not listen to this one because it will give you the desired effect. I loved listening as these characters started forming bonds and the storyline was building. It’s a fantastic book and I have loved the narration as well. This is one of those books that makes cleaning enjoyable as you become so invested in the storyline and the characters that there is no thought of will this cleaning ever end?

I loved this start to the series and will be so excited to listen to more about the Profane world

This was a fantastic read and introduction to a new series. I was hooked from the beginning, and finished the book in one sitting, it was action packed had an exciting mystery, and the characters were compelling, I can't wait for the next instalment. The narration was outstanding, with a fantastic, well known cast that brought the characters to life. I received this book in exchange for my honest review.

Chaos

This book has humour, steam, and entertaining. Ripley is the librarian, who is sassy, and feisty. Her men are great : Reyson (the God of Chaos), Felix (a familial turned back to a Warlock), Balthazar (a Warlock), and Gabriel (a vampire).

Wow the narration from Anneliese Rennie, Portia Kay Winters, Austin Barringer, Carl Mason, Antonio Amato, Aaron Shedlock, Liam Di Cosimo and Mike Johnson
