About this listen

It's Bridget Jones with vampires in this fresh and funny paranormal romance from debut author Juliet Lyons.

When Silver Harris kisses sexy Irish vampire Logan Byrne on New Year's Eve, she knows other humans just won't suffice. Convinced she'll never see him again, she joins the uber-popular vampire dating site, V-Date.com.

What Silver doesn't know is that the site is more dangerous than she could have ever imagined, and soon she's in over her head. When Logan returns, sparks fly and attraction sizzles, but they'll have to escape some very real demons if they have any chance of lasting forever.

Juliet Lyons is definitely an excellent writer; and her descriptive writing creates the imagery intended.

I like the concept of the story - I have always loved vampire stories. Justine Eyre and Alan Smyth did not just bring the main characters to life, but also added character to the overall story.

There wasn't much in the way of a plot as most of the book focused on the heated attraction and sexual exploits of Silver Harris - the leading lady and Logan Byrne - the leading man, As a result, I found most of the middle of the book quite boring. I did not like Silver, and I failed to see why Logan fell in love with her. She was a reckless and thoughtless person while he was a truly good man. However, I loved their banter and the humour in their words.

All in all, it was a well written book, and the ending picked up with excitement.

Brilliantly Written!

a human and a vampire have never gotten on or understood each other as well as these two. the comical quips and clear infatuation for each other make this a really enjoyable listen. this is my first book by this author and I'll definitely be looking out for more from her. the narration was really well done also.
