About this listen

Carol, Sarah, Samira and Mac were best friends at university. They were the bright young things who had the world on a string and shining futures ahead. pacy - crammed a lot in i sometimes could not tell which one was talking.

What does the narrators bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?

They were actors - and they brought out the bitchiness and the hollowness.

Do you think Catching Up needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

I already know it is a pilot for a series! But I am not sure where the women can go with this. I really would not want to listen to more catch up sessions if their lives don't move on.

Actually i found the situation between the women and the waiting staff the funniest for me. Style good but needs more situations

I most definitely am not the market these comedies are written for but, having downloaded them, I feel obliged to comment. However, having said that, I can still appreciate the witty and clever writing skills of the authors.
Of the five, I preferred, Working For The Big Man, but I must be honest and say, were they produced as a full length book, I would not buy any of them.

I'm not sure how interesting this will be over time. It has it's funny moments, but never really enough to make me wish for a whole series like this. Feel pretty indifferent to the pilot, not really interested in hearing more. Great cast, though.

Great performances which really differentiated between the characters. A quirky group of old friends reunited. Quite fun and I would listen to further such get together.

I liked the fun character voices and how the girls had different accents. This made it easy to tell the characters apart.
I would recommend this to any lady age 22 to 39
