Becoming a team leader is something I am really interested in learning more about. When we know our business, we can hire people to handle customer service, so we can avoid toxic people who may not know our work policies. We must follow work policies to serve our customers and avoid frustrating our company. I thank the author for this wonderful audiobook.

I chose this listen because I’d had enough of watching smart people burn energy navigating office politics and quiet dysfunction instead of doing great work. It delivered exactly what I needed: clear language, practical frameworks, and a steady reminder that culture shows up in execution, retention, and results. The narration is easy to stay with (no corporate hype voice), and the chapters are well structured. Solid audiobook for leaders, managers, or anyone tired of surviving a workplace instead of building one that runs well.

This was one of those audiobooks that immediately felt usable. It stays direct, keeps the focus on results, and explains why toxic culture is usually a mix of unclear standards and broken processes, not just “bad people.” The guidance is practical: create psychological safety that still expects performance, get leadership aligned on what matters, and build accountability into everyday routines. The micro-feedback tools and trust-first communication approach are especially strong because they’re easy to repeat and hard to misinterpret. Recommended for owners and managers who want a structured way to rebuild morale and get teams executing consistently.

Talk about awesome, the author has 30 years of experience to drive your paths to new directions. Nobody likes hearing those phrases "its just the way things are" allow yourself to help change the way people think and move moral to new heights. How many of us had workplace toxicity, i know ive seen so many, and people refuse to accept that there might be a way for positive change. This field guide gives you great examples to build that trust and gain purpose for a big or small organization. You should want everyone to do their best work, and with this, communication and workplace clarity can be adjusted for profitability. It doesn't matter if you're a leader or a manager to some one who works someplace and you want to help. I liked when the author says every opinion matters, and we can thank others for bringing up or talking about tough issues while seeing everything within its proper context. We want to review whats going on, gain that oversight and find those hidden worries.

Theres nothing better than building this team
