My childhood was spent in a mining town in the mountains of central Utah. It was a great place to grow up, and I have many fond memories from those years. I left when I was 14 to attend a Catholic boarding school in Colorado. From there, I moved to California to earn a degree in English Literature. I didn't pursue teaching but entered the restaurant business. After decades of working in restaurants, I transitioned into the food distribution industry and retired after a successful career. After retiring, I played to a 9 handicap in golf until my knee became problematic, and after it was fixed, Covid-19 happened. Now, I am publishing books and loving it. Throughout my years of working with people and in various businesses, I have gained a unique perspective on life. I have two children who are both very successful, and five grandkids who are growing up to be wonderful people. Currently working in retail tech, I still enjoy meeting people and learning new things.
