jack Remington is a tortured soul blaming himself for the death of his wife. He has blocked himself of from his family and the world in the mountains, where he does survival courses Savannah Braden is getting over another painful break up with the on/off boyfriend. The sparks fly before they have even taken off for the mountains. Over the course of the 3 day course Jack opens up to Savannah, and once he is back home to his cabin he begins to make amends with his family. This is where we meet the rest of the Remington family who are the next family series. Loved this book and the narration for the audio version was spot on again.

Savannah goes on wilderness break to get over being cheated on and ends up falling in love with broken widower Jack Remington. Jack is the leader of this break and tries his hardest to resist her as he is still grieving the death of his wife 3years previous. This is a wonderful story which is beautifully narrated and I found myself cheering both characters on as if they were in the room with me.

I absolutely adored this audiobook. Jack Remington is certainly a book hero that will captivate you and stay in your mind. He is brooding, serious, masking an unbearable pain and has become reclusive to life. He is an outdoorsman, and offers Savannah Braden not only an escape from her life, but a step into a whole new one.

After dating a failed famous country musician, Savannah has sworn herself off men and is determined to focus on herself. She books a getaway in order to ‘find herself’ and on doing so encounters the incredibly brooding and often frustrating Jack Remington. But there’s one thing that is undeniable, one gaze into Jacks incredible eyes and Savannah reads a story she wants to know more about.

This story is a beautiful listen, it’s about overcoming heartache, finding love and also sharing in grief. It is incredibly captivating and I couldn’t stop wanting the story to go on longer.

The narration was on point, the chapters easy to go through at your own pace and made for a good listen whilst attempting to get housework done. Incredible story and would highly recommend.
