Summary

Seaside Summers is a series of stand-alone romances that may also be enjoyed as part of the larger Love in Bloom series.

In Seaside Sunsets:

Jessica Ayers has lived a sheltered life with little more than cello lessons and practices taking up her day. Now a member of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, she escapes the prim and proper symphony to vacation in the Seaside community in Wellfleet, Massachusetts, and determine if she is living life to the fullest or missing it altogether.

For the first time since developing the second largest search engine in the world, billionaire Jamie Reed is taking the summer off. He plans to work from the Cape and spend time with his elderly grandmother - and falling in love is not in his plans.

From the moment Jamie and Jessica meet, the attraction is white-hot. Once-overly-focused Jamie can think of little else than sensual, smart, and alluring Jessica, and Jessica discovers a side of herself she never knew existed. But when Jamie's business encounters trouble and his attorney and best friend intervenes, he proves that the blond beauty is too distracting for Jamie. To make matters worse, it appears that Jessica might not be who she says she is, turning Jamie's life - and his heart - upside down.

Sizzling Seaside Sunsets!!

Another excellent story by Melissa Foster.

I absolutely love the seaside summers books and this has to be my favourite.

On along flight home from holiday this audible book was an excellent way to relax and pass the time on the flight. I just plugged my earphones in, closer my eyes and got swept away into this brilliant story.

Another fantastic romance.

I love the Seaside Summers series, and Seaside Sunsets is my favourite book so far. Jamie is a very successful in business but because of his tragic past, he is quite closed off from the world. When he meets Jessica, a sweet young woman who has lived a sheltered life, this all changes. Jamie and Jessica are perfect for each other. They had some big obstacles to overcome but I loved reading how they developed and grew as a couple and individually.

This is another great romance by Melissa Foster and a great addition to the series. I fell in love with Jamie and Jessica when I first read Seaside Sunsets, and having just listened to the audiobook, I fell in love with them all over again. There is just something about the way B.J Harrison brings the characters to life, and puts so much emotion into every word - you can tell it is exactly how Melissa Foster imagined it to be. As always, he has done Melissa Foster proud.

Makes me want to listen to more from Melissa

Another good story by Melissa, listening to the soothing tones of BJ Harrison makes the story even better. It tells of Jamie and Jessica both successful in what they do. Jessica is taking a break at Seaside when she meets Jamie in unusual circumstances when she throws her phone over the balcony, this leads to a romance with its ups and downs. She gets introduced to the Seaside girls and gets caught up in their pranks. This is the 4th audio book I have listened to and makes me want to listen to more.

Jamie & Jessica

Oh Jessica and Jamie. I read their story awhile ago and recently listened to the audiobook. As always neither Melissa Foster or B.J. Harrison disappoint. Jessica Ayers takes a much needed vacation from the world of music, where she is a member of the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Her cello has been her life for as long as she can remember and she’s always done what’s expected of her. She decides the Cape, the Seaside community is just the place for some serious soul searching. Is she living an inspiring and fulfilling life or merely going through the motions? Tech giant and billionaire, Jamie Reed is giving himself the summer off and visiting his grandmother Vera who resides at Seaside. He’s friends with all the Seaside summer locals who’ve been coming there as long as he has. This is a perfect chance to get to see our Seaside friends and experience more of their antics. Jessica and Jamie’s first meeting is humorous and shows a glimpse into both their personalities when tech savy Jamie gets pinged in the head by Jessica’s airborne cell phone. Frustrated and clueless about technology these two come together. The attraction is instant and neither is prepared for it. Thong Thursday had me laughing out loud. Leave it to Bella and crew, who willingly add Jessica to their friendship circle. This is a totally new and welcome experience for Jessica. Of course true love never runs smooth and issues arise, thanks to Jamie’s manipulative friend and convinces him Jessica is a distraction he might not be able to afford. From there things spiral, secrets are revealed, trust is questioned and the couple is at a crossroads. There’s plenty of laughs, heat, passion and love as these two must choose compromises and forgiveness or walk away for good. It’s a perfect book to connect with as you get to visit the Seaside community.

Summers are beautiful!

There is nothing better than spending the summer with Melissa Foster at the beach in Massachusetts. Each one of her Seaside Summers stories just keeps warms my heart and makes me happy. This one especially hit home with Jessica, the cello player. I love anything to do with instrumental music and her story is so easy to relate to. An accomplished player, she is looking for a break from the busy schedule the Boston Symphony provides her with.Going to the beach sounds like the perfect escape. Jamie, an internet search engine developer, has taken the summer off to spend with his elderly grandmother, and he does not plan on finding love. But when he meets Jessica, all bets are off. Will these two find the love they so desperately want? Jessica is a fantastic character, knowing her passions but also knowing it may not be the only thing in life. Jamie is that warm, loving man we all want, but is easily led astray with the click of a button! Totally frustrating, he made me crazy!!!!! Foster lets us enjoy their journey as each finds their way, as well as giving us Jamie's grandmother who is a hoot! Loved every minute of this story as it gets me ready for summer! BJ Harrison continues his narration of this series. I am enjoying his many voices, and the consistency he keeps between books as we have cameos of previous characters. He is a talent and a great performer.

A winning combination or narration and writing.

I loved listening to Seaside Sunsets narrated by B.J. Harrison. Melissa Foster has created such a great group of characters at Seaside. This book focuses on humble but hot internet tech guru Jamie Reed. Jamie meets Jessica Ayers, a cellist who is taking a break from her career. They have an instant attraction to each other. Jessica is trying to work out some career issues and Jamie has taken the summer off to be with his grandmother, Vera. Challenges and misunderstandings impact this relationship. B. J. Harrison truly brought Melissa Foster’s characters to life for me. I so enjoyed this book and highly recommend it.

Jamie and Jessica!!!

I love the guys and gals at Seaside. They are such a fun bunch and totally remind me of me and my best girlfriends. Jamie and Jessica are the perfect match. They totally get each other and similar interests. The seaside girls are quick to take Jessica under their wing and treat her as one of them. Jamie and Jessica have chemistry like no other. The heat just rises of the pages. B.J. Harrison narrates again and he is so good at making you feel like you are right there at Seaside at the beach with everyone. He totally makes the characters come alive. This book is a great read/listen.

Great story...

Seaside Sunsets is the third book in the Love in Bloom: Seaside Summers series. It can be read as a standalone. Jamie and Jessica are both successful and set in their careers. They both feel satisfied in life, and they both are craving some new connections. While taking a break from everyday life, they both end up at the same Cape Cod cottages. Will their connection be enough to keep them together? I enjoyed listening to this narrator. This is an excellent story that I highly recommend.

Hot and sexy

I absolutely loved the audiobook of Seaside Sunsets by Melissa Foster. B.J. Harrison was the narrator and once again he does not disappoint in his dialogue. In this story we get to meet Jessica Ayers and Jamie Reed. Jessica plays a cellist in the Boston Symphony Orchastra and Jamie is a billionaire for developing ONE CLICK. Jessica knows nothing about technology including cell phones and computers and Jamie knows everything there is to know. The first time they meet is hilarious when Jessica throwing her phone out the window and guess who it hits....Jamie. He can't believe Jessica is that clueless when it comes to phones and computers and he is willing to teach her everything there is to know and to get to know her as a person to. They both have chemistry together. And don't let me get started with thong thursday. OMG. Loved it.

LOVE Jaime & Jessica

Another 5-Star book from Melissa Foster! THANK YOU for your wonderful writing and your extreme LOVE of your craft! And BJ Harrison...and wonderful job depicting all the emotion from the characters. Your narrations always seem to bring more feeling to words I've already read! Jamie and Jessica...WOW!!! Their love is instant and their connection is amazing! She was looking for a distraction from her BSO life and he was looking to relax during the summer. What they found was a connection and time together that they never could have imagined while living their very different lives. BEAUTIFUL Story of love, misunderstanding, and reconnecting and finding each other after fighting what they thought was everything pushing against them.

Jamie + Jessica = Just right!

Jamie is a programmer and the founder of OneClick, a search engine that is only second place to Google. He is focused on his work yet a good friend and amazing support to his Grandmother Vera and his friends at Seaside. He decides to attempt a vacation and plans to spend his summer at Seaside, rather than the occasional weekend he typically spends. Jessica is a cellist, on hiatus from the Boston Symphony Orchestra. She has devoted a majority of her life to being the best cellist possible, with little time for anything else. Even the chance to have a break in the first place was difficult for her to obtain. Jessica chooses to spend her vacation in Seaside, where she rents an apartment. Jessica and Jamie meet unexpectedly, when Jessica, who isn't a fan of technology, gets frustrated and throws her phone, which then strikes Jamie as he walks by. They meet and despite their differences, are drawn to each other. Jessica is reserved and inexperienced, but Jamie makes her feel at ease immediately. They have to balance their urges with getting to know each other better. The question is, will they know each other well enough to overcome obstacles when their relationship and Jessica's past comes into question? I loved listening to this book after reading it when it was originally released in print. I loved "watching" these two get to know each other and grow closer. I also loved how quickly Jessica was brought into the fold with the other Seaside girls!

Unexpected Love!

Seaside Sunset by Melissa Foster is such a delightful listen. I loved how a thrown phone sparks the attraction between Jessica and Jaime. Both are career driven and wanting to find balance in their lives. The author writes incredible imagery in this book. I loved how she also included the ethic of accountability in this story and how well meaning friends can be detrimental to relationships. The feelings I got listening to this story were very realistic. BJ Harrison does an amazing performance in this book. His voice is smooth and articulate, and adds the right emotions and inflection. This story is a standalone listen. I will most definitely listen to more books by this author and narrator. I loved it!
