Another cracker! Brilliant!

After reading born of water and born of fire, you grow attached to the previous characters and I felt nervous that I wouldn’t like the next ones as much, but nope, I loved her. I am married to an Irish man, and was nervous that maybe she wouldn’t get Ireland, but no again, well done. Or fair play to ya. I love flowers too, so gorgeous descriptions as well as history, mysteries and action. Good fast pace. Good endings with everything tied up.

Loved it

What’s not to like? A well written fantasy for young adults that anyone who has a love or fantasy and romance should enjoy regardless of age. This is book 2 of a great series and I am looking forward to reading the next book in this unusual take on the fae.

I want to be an Elemental!

Once again I have been transported to the mix of the the real world and the supernatural. A.L. Knorr is a master at bringing to life the myths we grew up with in the modern world. I can’t wait for the next story in the series. In fact I think I’ll start it now.

Just keeps getting better

This series is getting better and better each book.

This is Georjie's story of how she became an Elemental.

She goes to Ireland to stay with her aund and adopted cousin. Her cousin is cold and distant towards her but as time goes on, they become friends.

Jasher shows Georjie the buttlerfly pupae and then points one out to her asking her if she can see it - of course she can, but she is shocked when she finds out it's a fairy pupae!

From here it's a wild ride of finding out the history of her family to saving Jasher and his estranged father.

I can't wait to find out Akiko's story and how the friends react to each others' amazing summer and the turn of events each of them have taken.

Very well written and narrated beautifully by Gabra Zackman

Elementals still going strong! Great!

I have read the book, and have now heard the audiobook! I have said before it is lovely to have the stories read to me, it really adds a dimension of life to the stories that you don’t necessarily get it with just reading it.

This is the third book in the elemental series and follows Georjayna to Ireland, where she undertakes her own transformation/development whilst on a journey of self discovery. She learns an awful lot about herself and her family history whilst staying with her aunt and adopted cousin, who is wrestling with Demons of his own so to speak. I won’t post spoilers, but you need to read and listen to the story! Another brilliant offering from AL Knorr!

Great read/listen

Born of Earth (Elemental Origins #3), my 13th read from author A.L. Knorr. WOW! Incredible read! I was given an Audible copy of this book, included in Born of Fire, & am voluntarily reading & reviewing it. Gabra Zachman’s talented narration adds to the well-written book's enjoyment. Extremely well written. I’ll be reading more from this author! Better yet this is the fifth book in a multi-book series that I look forward to reading. Next up, Born of Aether (Elemental Origins #4)! (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).

Wonderfully Whimsical

This is such a wonderful whimsical tale which is a great and very individual addition to the Elementals series. The slow burn relationship between Georgia and Jasher is compelling. The writing is so vivid and the narration brilliantly done, it easily brought the scenes to life in my mind. I love this series.

Can't get enough!

I just can't get enough of this series! Georgiana's story is intense and thrilling with the touch of heartbreak for the character's plight that I have come to love. The only thing I'm left wishing for is more of the story of her and Jasher. The descriptions of the world she creates are intense and leave very little to fill in, it's as if you are seeing the whole thing unfold through the main characters eyes directly. The narration is perfect as well. The multitude of voices and accents from one reader is fantastic at bringing the authors words to life. Can't wait to read the next book!

A great read

Another winner from A L Knorr. What a fun set of books. A quick side note my husband heard part of this audiobook and loved the narrators voice. He occasionally hears some of the stories I listen to and hasn’t always been a fan. But the narrator was the first thing he commented on. Granted he couldn’t speak much to the book itself since he only got a few short snippets. But I feel confident he too would love this series. Georjie and Jasher are just great characters. I hope we see more of Jasher in future books. The feelings for each other were so sweet. When Georgie says that a Kiss doesn’t always make a moment more romantic (or something like that) was just so great. But they did have some great kisses too. Can we laugh and say they are kissing cousins?

A beautifully written tale 🍀

This a great story that takes you on an emotional ride. As Georjie goes to Ireland for the summer what she discoverers is so much about herself, family history and what that has to do with the Fae. This is an amazing story of a girl coming into her own and learning to deal with things she never thought could happen. A definite must read!!!
