In this novella Kate discovers that she actually has some powers. This 2nd book gives us a better glimpse into Kate as a character and we get some other interesting surprises that will hopefully be expanded upon in future books. I like the author's style; she was able to draw me in quickly and kept my attention throughout. Honestly, I wish this had lasted longer and there would be full length novels to come because we are clearly only at the beginning of a very promising series. Also, I loved Luna, she was a very interesting choice to play the role she does in the book. Excited for more!

Narration was great and fit the book perfectly, I am very pleased that this narrator was able to draw out the characters and gave plenty of emotion and distinguished voices well.

Loved listening to this series! I actually listened out of order...oops! But there was no issue with that. I was able to understand what was going on and loved it! My heart goes out to Kate having to understand and quickly about her powers. What an interesting familiar too!!! Excellent narration and series! A great series to listen to over and over!
