Average Summary

Average Summary of the current AI state, rushed through many aspects and never really gripping the substance of the issues. Well read though

Just Scratches the Surface!

If you know absolutely nothing about AI and the ways it has recently been employed and tested then this could well be a decent way to pique your interest in what has to be one of the most fascinating technologies of our times. I, personally, know very, very little about AI but this series didn't take me any further or point me in any new directions.

It is an amazing concept to me, computers capable of making decisions that the humans that work with them have no way of explaining, it's real sci-fi stuff.

This series though didn't get me any further, I didn't have high hopes given its brevity but I had hoped for a little more. I was also a bit disappointed in some of the production values with some of the audio used being of poor quality and some of the speakers weren't the best.

So, I would recommend it if you literally have no knowledge whatsoever of AI and its uses but otherwise, you're unlikely to get much out of this one.

Not a great narrator

Very awkward to choose a narrator who can't pronounce 'robots'. I'm not sue I want to listen to an entire series on 'woebots'.

A very good series

This is a very good series especially for the ones outside of the it industry.
You can easily go through it in a few hours of commuting time.
The jornalist is top quality and I reckon that Audible would be a lot more interesting on a Netflix subscription model with curated, professionally created original podcasts.
