Scratched an itch I didn't know I had.
The storyline felt fresh and captivating while also leaving me with a feeling of nostalgia.

Took a while to get used to the writing style and the 1st person perspective. But after the first hour or so, I stopped critiquing and thinking that there were so many extra words that could have been edited out and the story gripped me from then on in. Well worth a listen.

after seeing these books advertised I went hunting high and low but forgot the author's name, thankfully tiktok came to the rescue when I came across the author going live and like a lightbulb moment instantly turned to audible to search his work,

I'm not a reader as per say but I do love to listen to a good audiobook and for me this is one of the better ones within the genre,

from the very 1st chapter I was hooked and already have book 2 waiting to hear and anticipating when we'll get more to the series,

fingers crossed it gets picked up and turned into a live action series with minimal deviations from the story,
