Can I give a gift membership to someone who is already a member?
Yes, the member will receive all credits from their gift membership at once. Their current plan will not pause, extend or be interrupted.
Can I send credits as a gift?
Not exactly. In most cases, you can give an audiobook using one of your credits. Or you can give a gift membership, and they'll get one credit each month to buy any audiobook of their choice. If they're already a member, they'll receive all credits from the gift membership at once and their membership will not be extended or interrupted.
What happens if I gift an audiobook someone already owns?
If your recipient already has the audiobook in their Audible library, we'll change the gift to a credit or coupon they can use to choose something else.
Can I use Amazon gift cards on Audible?
Unfortunately, we cannot accept Amazon gift cards at this time.
How do recipients redeem their gift?
Gift recipients of both audiobooks and memberships will receive a claim code at the email address that you provide at checkout. As soon as they redeem the claim code on the redemption page, they are all set. You can check the claim status of any gift sent in the Gift History section of your Account Details.
